Spiller vs. Miami Run D (1 Viewer)

Miami's run D is pretty stout. They allow 101 ypg (#8 in NFL), only 3.9 ypc (#6 in NFL) and around #6 in the NFL in points allowed to RBs (depending on scoring format).

Spiller ought to be getting the full workload (I really don't trust Gailey though). However, he also got the full workload the last time the Bills played the Dolphins:

91 yards on 22 carries (4.1 ypc very close to the Dolphin average)

39 yards on 3 receptions (kind of saved his day)

...AND that was at home with the lead the entire game.

Is a similar stat line, maybe toned down for being on the road, likely? Say...110 total yards and no TDs?

I think TD's for a guy like this is unpredictable. Say he scored the last time they played putting his numbers at 91 yards rushing and 3/39 receiving and 1 TD. That's 19 points in a standard scoring league. Would you be second guessing his production if that was the case?

I love Spiller, and he's in my SuperBowl lineup, but I do wish he had a better matchup. He will get stuffed a lot, so he's going to have to break several runs or screens to have a great day. Fingers crossed.

Spiller is matchup proof. The only matchup spiller does poorly in is vs chan gailey. That's his kryptonite. If spiller gets 20-25 touches he will produce like an rb1 regardless of opponent. He's shown it all year. Gettin it done even with 10-12 touches in some games.

Plus he had over 100 total yards last time they faced Miami.

Have no fear about spiller.

If I wanted to insult him, it would look a lot worse than what I posted. I'm sure the man behind the poster is a great person, but the schtick however, is terrible.
