Hey guys,
We've had some teams drop out and are looking for new managers.

Our "Heroes and Villains of the 80's" dynasty fantasy league will be entering its fifth year.
The general approach of the league is to do something different than the standard redraft that most of us were tired of...

The basic premise is to have a large number of teams (24) and two copies of each player to make trading a lot easier. Best ball format so no setting lineups and the highest scoring players are automatically used in your lineup. We’re also eliminating the headaches of kickers and defense and using rosters and scoring that somewhat even out the value of the offensive positions.
  • 24 Teams - Two 12-team divisions each have their own playoffs as well as an overall group playoff for two chances to win glory / money.
  • Player Copies - Two copies of each player so two chances at him when drafting / trading, always a second option / owner if the other doesn't want to deal the guy you want.
  • Dynasty - You keep all your players year to year, after the initial startup draft there will be a rookie draft each year after the NFL Draft.
  • Devy - You can draft and hold college players who are draft-eligible in the next two years. (For the next rookie draft, this will be players that become draft-eligible in ’26 and ’27)
  • Only one copy of devy players can be drafted while in college so at least one copy of all rookies will be available for the rookie draft after the NFL draft (solves the problem of depleted rookie drafts in devy leagues).
  • Themed League - Heroes / Villains of the 80’s, 12 teams division for each, random draft to select your team.
  • Best Ball - No spending Sunday mornings worrying about injuries and setting lineups, this automatically uses the best scores from your roster.
  • No K or D - Just uses offensive players: QB, RB, WR, TE
  • Superflex - Lineup is 10 players: QB, RB, WR, TE, 5 flex (RB, WR, TE), 1 superflex (QB, RB, WR, TE) so you could end up starting 2 QB's so it will help even out positional value.
  • TE Premium - TE's get 2 PPR instead of 1 to even out positional value.
For new teams (5 of the 24) we will hold a slow online dispersal draft on the MFL league website where the new teams will take turns drafting players and draft picks from the rosters of the teams that left. That gives everyone some ability to build their team the way they want instead of getting stuck with the players on whatever team they get. You can take a look at the list here: HV80's 2025 Dispersal Draft List

League fee is $60/year and except for the website cost, it's all paid back out to the winners.
The money will be collected and paid out through Leaguesafe.com.

Let me know if you're interested and/or what questions you have. First to respond and commit (pay) will get the teams.

Thanks!
