What are people's opinion on the spread of 12 points? Do you think it will go up or down in the next two weeks?

Up to at LEAST 14.5. Noone is betting on the Giants with under 2 TDs, but 14.5 looks about right to get the betting the other way.

Agreed. I think it will hover around 14 just like it did against San Diego.
Until a few days before the game, and then it'll leap to 15+, IMO - on the day of the game, it'll jump again - potentially into historic range.

I'm surprised it didn't start higher, but I think if anything the spread will go down very slightly. The Giants played the Pats tough to end the season, and NE hasn't had the same killer instinct of week 10 prior. They've let teams stay close so long as they don't make too many mistakes, and right now the Giants aren't making any. This is setup to be a game within 10 imo.

I think the elements and playing tight games on the road had a lot to do with the Patriots not scoring as much as they did earlier in the season. Give them warmth, clear skies, and a dry track and they will again be all over the place offensively. That being said, I think the line will be too high as the Pats are notorious for giving up garbage time points that prevent them from covering. IMO, Pats win by 10 or 11.
