WR Stallworth Expected To Start Tonight

Reuben Frank, PhillyBurbs.com - [Full Article]

New Packers HC Mike McCarthy isn't surprised to see that WR Donte Stallworth is off to a good start with the Eagles. Stallworth didn't play against San Francisco because of a hamstring strain but was 11-for-222 with two touchdowns the first two weeks of the season. He's expected to start tonight. “I'm very fond of him personally,” said McCarthy, who left the Saints after the 2004 season. "He's at the point where he's going to come into his own. He's an explosive young man with excellent speed, and the one thing I've always admired the most about him was his toughness. He's very, very tough."

Not to make this too much of an AC question, but I've been waiting to hear about Stallworth so I could decide between Reggie Brown and Greg Jennings tonight. If Stallworth is indeed going to start, is Reggie Brown going to return to his weeks 1 and 2 performance of 2-3 catches for minimal yards and a touchdown? Last week Reggie had 100 yards in the first quarter and then only 6 the rest of the game. He's hard to figure out.

Where in the article does it say he will start ?? :bye:
I think I'll go make a thread with the title "P. Manning expecting 500 yards passing this week" where I quote Dungy as saying he had a Frisco Melt for lunch. Look for it later.

"Will"? Doesn't. "Expected"? Third sentence?

Stallworth draws Al Harris. Reggie Brown draws Ahamd Carroll. I dont see Stallworth coming back as a bad thing.

There's a matchup in one of my leagues where the teams are separated by 0.25 pts, with one owner only having Stallworth to play tonight. Both owners are on pins and needles right now.

That would totally suck if he does play cause I am tied going into tonight. I have Favre and Driver, my opponent and nemesis has Stallworth.

Here's to seeing Donte' in street clothes on the sideline tonight!!!!

I can't take the suspense. Please report back tomorrow on how it turns out!

Stallworth, 8/126 1 td. Philly 30 GB 20. Now all you guys, like me by the way, who need Stallworth to do something can go to bed early and not worry about this "status" nonsense.

he needs to sit tonight rather than come back too early and risk aggravating it. Seeriously, they don't need him against GB. Did I hear correctly that there is a chance of rain tonight? - if so, he is going to sit Watch ( ok, at least i hope so)

Well, I hope everyone enjoyed their one or two good games from him. It seems he has reverted back to being the Donte Stallworth of the New Orleans Saints and will have a naging hamstring injury every week. This guy is such a ####!
