Right but I wanted to drop my other TE to make room on my bench.

Dropping your TE before knowing if a player who hasn't played a down yet this year is very risky.  Unless the guy you want to pick up is a guaranteed shark move and the points you'd be losing with your backup TE aren't that much anyways.

Well I have Pitta and was planning on dropping him anyways. There's Miller, Henry, Brate, Allen, Tamme and some other guys left.

And I should add that it's FAAB so after the waivers go through I can just grab whoever for nothing.

I'm in a situation where I need a QB so I'm adding Hoyer for this week, I accidentally dropped Cobb so I'm getting him back, and Id like to add Terrence West.

There are enough TE on the wire if news is he doesn't play.  I think you're safe.
