Starting 2 WRs from same NFL Team? (1 Viewer)

Through a series of trades, I ended up with 2 well regarded WRs from the same team - think Nelson/Cobb, Decker/Thomas, Cruz/Nicks (not naming specifics as this is not a Who Should I Start thread). Thinking of starting them both this week but concerned that this would put too many eggs in the same basket.

I gotta believe I'm not the only one facing this dilemma. Thoughts on how to handle? Silly to start them both assuming comparable WR (or a minor downgrade WR) is available on the bench? Avoid starting them if possible? Advice?

Roddy and Julio have been a nice pair all year. In the correct system it works, but it has to he a pass happy offense and you can't have TOO MANY options or the targets get spread too thin.

View them independently as if you did not have the counterpart wr.

Would you start D.Thomas?

Would you start E.Decker?

Done.

guy in my league has been starting Welker and Lloyd almost all year. He's currently in 7th place in a 3 way tie record wise, but low man in total points.

Pair's of receivers (this includes top TE options) are only great if they are in a passing offense that can support it weekly. There's really only a few in the league - Saints, Pats, Falcons, Packers, Broncos. IMO those are the only consistent teams that throw close to 300 yards week in and week out.

This is not a valid combo. The pats duo would be Gronk/Welker. NO offense can support 3 receiving options (consistently) IMO.

About 10 years ago I had assembled what was going to be one of the greatest days in my life to watch NFL football. Seattle vs Green Bay was on TV in my market, and through some trades and the way I drafted, I was starting Hasselbeck, Shaun Alexander, Koren Robinson, Darrell Jackson, Darren Sharper, Nick Barnett and Bubba Franks. I lost.

Same discussion from 5 years ago.

Can both Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin produce? And the answer is yes.

When a passing attack is potent enough, the two starting receivers can both be fantasy relevant.

I also forgot that adding two wrs from the same time will most likely lead to consistent production--consistently bad, consistently average, or consistently good, as it depends on which wrs they are.
