Starting Lineup Requirements (1 Viewer)

trying to evaluate our starting lineup requirements and see if we should change or adjust anything....wondering if other leagues do anything like this

Possible lineup combinations (all include 1 QB/K/D)

1. Pro set: 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE

2. Run-n- Shoot: 1 RB, 4 WR, 1 TE

3. Full House: 3 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE

4. Double Tight: 2 RB, 2WR, 2 TE

5. Double Tight/3 Wide: 1 RB, 3 WR, 2 TE,

so always a combination of 6.......with some bye weeks now having 6 teams off and the injury factor, our guys like the idea of some lineup flexibility, even being able to start two TE even though it doesn't happen very often

2 leagues

1-QB, 2-RBs, 3-WR/TEs, 1-Flex(RB,WR,TE), 1-K

another league

1-QB, 2-RBs, 2-WRs, 1-TE, 2-Flex(RB,WR,TE), 1-K

no DEF for any

My league has this:

1QB

1RB

2WR

0TE

1D

1K

3Flex (RB/WR/TE)

TE is not required, but scores 1ppr, vs .5ppr for RB & WR.

One guy ended up starting and drafting Heap/Shockey/Gonzo a couple of years ago. Others try to start 4RB every week. Others go for the 5WR/1RB line up. We like the flex because it gives everyone the flexibility to do what they want. I don't know why you'd want to limit to the 6 options you mentioned (but I bet if I did the algebra, I don't have many more options with my league).
