This is like fifth-hand information, but a friend of mine says that this may not be such an "accident", given Roethlisberger's ankle. Just tossing it out there. Having heard a lot of accounts about Harbaugh from behind-the-scenes, I wouldn't be too surprised. Guy will play any angle he can.

This happens with regularity. It's not a one game thing. Steelers third and long woes over the past good little while are near legendary at this point.They go through periods every game where they seemingly go "stuff-stuff-allow 10 yard completions for first down" 4 or 5 consecutive sets of downs.Typically it's after they have a lead though.

SF got hosed on a bogus chop block call vs. the Ravens too. If I'm Pittsburgh, not sure I call a timeout there -- SF will pin them deep with the punt and then might force a turnover and/or get the ball back in good field position
