Yeah, Del Rio could decide that the Steelers home black jerseys are "classy" enough to have them wear them Monday like he did with the Cowboys last week.

With the Gulf Coast humidity, it hangs in the air and doesn't cool off very quickly. I don't think it'll be like mid-day heat and zap the energy of the opposing team, but it will still be warm and very heavy feeling. Meanwhile, the Jags have been practicing in that climate during the day, and to them it would feel like a brisk 55 degree late autumn day. Not much penalty to the Steelers, but a bonus to the Jags along with their home field and fans.

If Ben in fact plays this week you will see a slugish performance. And fatigue will be a factor for him. I just hope the game is out of reach by the 4th.

1) Jax is not gulf coast, its on the atlantic coast. It does make a big difference

2) the heat right now is no worse than the summer heat in the northeast. So, it will be just like training camp, probably even cooler

3) WHile this is the rainy time of year in Jax, the humidty is forecast to be only around 40-50%.

worst case scenario is if the winds are out the southwest sicne that will blow some of the humid gulf air towards Jax. Even then, i thknk its still a non issue as Camp just broke a couple weeks ago.

For what it is worth the Steelers have been practicing this week indoors with the heat cranked to 90. We are only 2 weeks into the season and this summer in Pittsburgh it has been hot and humid.

The heat will not be a factor.
