**Steelers at Seahawks** (-4, 41) 4:05 (1 Viewer)

Hoping for a revenge game that makes me feel better about the mugging that occurred in February 2006.

The holding call on Locklear was 100% the difference. The illegal block call on Hasselbeck was embarrassing. Those two flags allowed for the attempt at the trick play that never would have happened. Alexander would have walked in from the 1.

It was a home game for Pittsburgh.

Rapey McRaperson got credit for a Super Bowl win. It will be mentioned many times when he gets shuffled into Canton. However, his stat line won’t be mentioned from that game. They won in spite of him, not because.

Side note: mad respect for the Rooney family. Best owners in the NFL.

Revenge game for the fans maybe but SB XL was almost two decades ago. I doubt that any of these players care, they just want to keep their playoffs hopes alive.

The Steelers are down to their 6&7 string safeties and are playing a middle linebacker that was sitting on his couch a few weeks ago and anotger plucked off of the Carolina Panthers practice squad

As long as the Seahawks can provide pass protection, Gino should be able to light them up.

I don’t think the Steelers have much of a chance on this one but it is the NFL and anything can happen.

Seahawks: 30, Steelers: 17

Hey I still hate the Seahawks for knocking my beloved Redskins out of the playoffs in 2012, 2007, and 2005. I'll hold a grudge for decades, no problem! ;)

Tough road game for Pittsburgh.
Seattle very much in the playoff hunt.
I see a better team in this one,so...

Emerald City- 29
Steel City- 17

All these years later, it still doesn't matter that there are pictures of Locklear beaten around the edge by Haggans and grabbing his right shoulder with his right hand, pulling him back, which is the only reason he didn't get to Hasselbeck.

I don't care if the Steelers win today or not because it's not a worthy playoff team, but that SB victory is just as nice today as it was then lol

Sounds like the Detroit fans yesterday pointing to pictures and short chopped video clips. Full videos show it wasn't a hold. Bill Leavy agreed before his death.

Or, someone who realizes that Clark Haggans wouldn't have been slowed up and leaning backwards once he was already past Locklear unless he was being grabbed on the shoulder from behind. Haggans wasn't tackled and if someone wants to call it ticky tack, that's fine too. But if he wasn't held at all, he'd have made it to Hasselbeck.

All those Terrible Towles look niiiiiiice up there.

Seahawks on the way to getting blown out giving up huge chunks of yards. Warren and Harris looking like a lock to total over 200 on the ground.

Steelers look like a whole new offense.
It’s amazing. I think Rudolph has earned the starting job next year. He looks great.

Really? Based on what's happened in this game?
2 games.
If he were to come out and throw a pick 6 on the next series and cause the team to lose to Seattle, would your opinion change?

If the results of a single play makes you change your mind, I think you're being a bit unrealistic.

unless you’ve watched the Steelers all season long I can’t quite explain the difference to you. He brings an energy and confidence that the other two QBs just don’t have. I’m betting that most Steelers fans agree with me (though I don’t know for sure.)

Fair enough. I haven't watched all season. You have a much better basis for a fair evaluation.

I've watched most of the Steelers' season although we do not get today's game. And I am an unabashed fan of Kenny Pickett. These two performances of Mason Rudolph make me much more optimistic for the future. Trubisky is obviously gone. I still like Kenny as the starting QB but if the Steelers have the means to keep both (don't know what Rudolph's contract is like) then it gives the team two viable options.

Rudolph has looked better the last two weeks than Trubisky or Pickett ever has. Taking good shots, accurate, making good decisions.

If Tomlin wasn't so damn stubborn about benching Trubisky, they wouldn't have lost to Arizona and New England, maybe others. Another year where they either moss the playoffs or lose a spot or two by playing down to lesser competition and bad coaching decisions.
