Steelers name all-time team. (1 Viewer)

Louis Lipps should be on there. :fishing:
I'm not sure what the fishing line is about. Louis Lipps was a two-time Pro Bowl WR and ranks third on the team for receptions and yards receiving, fifth in TD catches and was a great return man. These numbers are astonishing when you figure the QBs throwing to him: Malone, Woodley, Brister, Blackledge., etc. I am not so sure Jerry Rice could have put up better numbers with those bums throwing to him.You can't put him ahead of Ward, Stallworth or Swann but he definitely was no slouch.

Parker has started for 2 years? Blier was on 4 SB teams, starting in the backfield. Blier is a historic figure around WPA, the movie, the injury in the war, Penn St guy, etc. I am not bashing parker, I like him a lot, but over Blier? No.
Huh?ETA: I guess it was that Penn State-South Bend Campus.

:goodposting: Lipps was our glimmer of hope during the dreadful 80's teams.
