Steelers / Ravens (1 Viewer)

steelers are just badravens arent that good, they are just getting the big breaks against bad teams this year
Not giving a little credit to the Ravens at 9-2 is really faulty logic or an emotional response to your team getting hammered. Ravens are pretty damn good.

The Steelers have been extremely sloppy this year -- I think that describes it better than any other single term. But they've had opportunities and shown flashes of what they're capable of in every other game they've played so far. Today we showed absolutely nothing and got totally skunked. I don't think that's a coincidence.

Steelers are officially done. I had hoped they could put together one of those long winning srreaks they always get on. This team is just not the same as the last 2 years.

Steelers - Ravens: Thoughts?I think I'm going to go vomit. That's about it.
:banned: This was about as bad as it ever gets in this series. Totally unexpected.
The Ravens seem to be powering up at exactly the right time.
With a 5-game winning streak now, I'm starting to think the same way. They continue to improve on both sides of the ball.

Well, you're right in that they haven't beaten the Colts, Patriots or Bears this season but, really, how many teams can you objectively rank ahead of them at this point? They just waxed a team that, while struggling for wins, has competed hard and been in most of its games all year. They've beaten the current leaders of the AFC West and the NFC South.

The Ravens offense seems to have improved since Fassel was fired and Billick took over the playcalling.

i fess up, i was a fool for thinking pittsburgh could beat the ravens. because of the total domination by the ravens on offense and defense has made me take off my blinders (i am a steelers fan) and admit that the steelers just are not good. man, the offensive line is horrible. hopefully the steelers lose out , move up in the draft, and reload some talent for next year. i would also sit roethlisberger before he gets killed out thier.

Congrats to the Ravens. They showed they were the better team today. The Steelers were dominated in all phases of the game.

Still love my Steelers, though.

I think you missed the point. The point is that Ben has been making a TON of mistakes - its one of their biggest problems. The same cannot be said for McNair - he has more TDs than INTs.
That was true early in the season but the last four or five games Ben has been pretty good. The Steelers problems of late is their weak secondary, inconsistent running game and absolute horrid special teams play.
I don't follow you here. Ben threw 3 INTs in his last game. That is not "pretty good". Extrapolate that out to 16 games and he throws 48 INTs. That is not pretty good. He would get benched. In his last four games he has thrown 10 INTs. That's 40 INTs over 16 games. That's not pretty good, either. Let's try 5 games. 10 INTs over 5 games. That's 32 INTs. He'd still get benched.
Are you a ####### idiot? You obviously didnt watch last week. One INT MAY have been his fault. And by your logic, he threw 3 TDs against the Saints. Extrapolate over 16 weeks and he has 48 TDs. What the #### is your point? Go take a statistics class.
