I am a Steve Smith owner and I have been pulling my hair out over his situation. With the QB disaster in Carolina - what are owners expecting from Steve Smith the rest of the way?

I almost feel like he is going to finish the season the way Lee Evans started his. Almost waiver wire junk.

As a Steve Smith owner I expect wildly inconsistent numbers out of a horrible QB situation. Smith is still going to make some plays, but you can't count on him week in and week out.

all i know is, that i'm starting Lee Evans over Smitty till somebody throws to him again...

With Vinny, Smith is a solid #2. With Moore, he's a borderline #3. With Carr, he's a wonderful bench player.

frustration... especially when thinking about how the year started out and what could have been...

I just traded Cedric Benson & Santonio Holmes for him. We'll see what happens. I'm in 8th place now, so a little risk taking was in order. Here's to hoping that Vinny can stay in for the remainder of the season.
