Steve Smith this Sunday (1 Viewer)

I didn't see any of the Panther game last week, but Smith was terrible for me. I understand there were a few pass interference calls, but that can't explain the whole game. Now, I'm worried about David Carr. Last year I had Andre Johnson, and Carr made him waayy too inconsistent. So does he do the same to Smith this Sunday? Or am I worried for nothing?

Never, never, never sit your studs-------unless you have a better stud in the wings. :blackdot:

As a S.Smith owner in two leagues, here's from last week's game:

Pass attempts (including sacks taken on pass plays) Targets to S.Smith Completions to Smith

Delhomme

23-5-0

Carr

3-1-1

Take from it what you will but it looks like Carr is more willing to look for Smith if for nothing else than he knows he's the playmaker.

Of course I agree, I'll play him no matter what. But I'm wondering if the combination of whatever happened last week plus David carr means he won't quite be as good...

Dude, don't overthink this. Smith is one of the more consistent performers at a historically inconsistent position. He had a bad game. He may have a few more. He's human. Still, don't know why you are asking this question. If he's on your team, you play him - every week. Unless you want to trade him for a more inconsistent receiver.

JS- Props for not mentioning yourself or your league.

I actually enjoy hearing about the Judge's leagues. To each their own-
