Fo rthose who will be drafting Steve Smith. have you thought about a week 1 or 2 back up plan. Any non-radar WR out there that have a cake first two weeks against the pass?
I will be taking whatever receiver I can get... I'm in a Dynasty league, and Smith was my "anchor" at WR. Now he's a different sort of anchor. I also have Deion Branch, and about 2/3rd of my cap tied up between those two and Steven Jackson who also might not be playing.
IMO, unless you can get Hackett or Muhammed cheap, it might be better to go with another team's option since those two may have an inflated price based on the expectation that they're going to start (i.e. you'll be paying for a 16 game starter even though they may only start 2 games). That said, I think they will be on the field a lot during the whole season. I might take a Drew Bennet type over them.

This will sounds sarcastic, but it isn't meant to be such...play my 4th WR on my FF team. No need to go get Hackett or anything else...just play your 4th WR on your own depth chart. It's for 2 weeks and the rest of your team has to carry you. Then Steve arrives on the scene and you kick even more tail.
If I end up with SS I'm going to look to grab Djax and/or Royal late. They should be producing while Brandon Marshall is serving his suspension concurrent with SSmith's. Unfortunately, I don't know if anyone on CAR is worthy of owning during the first two weeks. Muhammahed?
