Steven Jackson (1 Viewer)

Glazier from Fox just said they hope to maybe get him 14 carries
any other thoughts on this?
I don't know I was kind of expecting him to carry the load with the time off from the bye week.. I don't have any better options really with Grant and Kolby so I am sticking with him.. But if I had a better starter with this news I would probably sit S-Jax
I was expecting a full load as well, but now I'm almost going to have to play DeShaun Foster

I kind of agree with this. It does suck, but if it means keep him or getting him healthy for the remainder of the season, I think its wise. I still look for a decent contribution, maybe 50, 1. Not RB1 numbers, by any means, but he could feel well enough to tell the coaches to give him more work. Who knows.

Just subbed R Grant for him bc I heard the 14 carry report on Fox as well.
I have that option but I am electing to stay with SJax, as Minny is just an awful matchup. Rest assured, Grant will blow up this week.
I'm going with you staying with S-jax over Grant
I also am a bit skeptical of Grant's workload this week. McCarthy stated how he hoped to get Jackson involved and lessen the workload with Grant's concussion from last week. I think both Grant and Sjax could see similar touches; he also has a better matchup IMO, thus my prophetic announcement.

O-Line is horrible, but SJax is in about 75% of the time. Pittman is subbing at hb and Leonard is staying at FB.

If SJax goes down - maybe Pittman is the man to grab? Maybe keeping Leonard at FB and bringing in Pittman at RB makes their offense better? Maybe they decided this after their bye week?

SJAX looked good and would have had an off-the-chart day if it wasn't for Linehans play calling. 1 TD is nice but he could have very easily had 3tds. 2 times they had first and goal inside the 5 and didn't even give Jackson a shot.

I can promise that I will never EVER draft a St. Louis RB while Linehan is coach again. Good thing Linehan should be out of a job soon.
