The value is quickly disappearing now, though. With all the press he's gotten he's going progressively higher in MFL 10s. He went in the mid 10th round of my most recent two. That's not necessarily a bad spot, as guys on the board still were the likes of Stills, Ruben Randle, Cruz, John Brown, Quick, Marvin Jones, etc, which seems OK in terms of relative value and upside, but the days of Stevie in the late rounds seem long gone. That said, I do like some of those guys over him so I won't be drafting Sevie that early.Anyone else see value here? Rivers is easily the best QB Stevie Johnson has ever played with. Weird thing about Stevie Johnson is that he has a history of being productive. Feels like a Randall Lloyd year.
I assume he's not being overdrafted either.
Eddie Royal got enough targets to be a bye week filler, and I think Johnson is much better then Royal. You are also getting Johnson in the 15th or so round. What guys are available at that time with a clear role?Everything I have read has him in the slot with Allen/Floyd on the outside. Will he get enough targets do be relevant? I'd rather draft guys who have clear role
i'd prefer quick, Britt, and Marvin Jones to name a few and probably most of the names referred to above, but that's just meEddie Royal got enough targets to be a bye week filler, and I think Johnson is much better then Royal. Pretty much same as me, went undrafted last night and want to fit him in but have Julio, Hopkins, Brown, Decker and Adams. Considering a switch for Adams but like his potential upside should one of the Packers WR miss any time.He went undrafted in my 16 round 12 team PPR last night. I selected Reuben Randle and Baldwin in the 14th and 16th rounds ahead of him but have been wondering if I should take a flyer on Stevie.
I expect him to outscore all but two of those WR's in PPR.Pretty much same as me, went undrafted last night and want to fit him in but have Julio, Hopkins, Brown, Decker and Adams. So wrong guyInteresting flier, he's the best WR on the roster at getting separation.(Keenan is terrible)
Looks good but he might be best suited as a flex when Gates returns. Maybe Gates loses a step and he doesn't take much away from Steve.
I'm torn between these two takes. Leaning toward holding onto him unless he really blows up and I can steal Dez from a desperate owner. This reeks of selling high in a couple weeks just before Gates comes back.
Humongous value considering where he was drafted. I'm still having a tough time plugging him over the likes of John Brown and Moncrief in PPR though.Johnson's 11 catches on 12 targets is the best percentage in the league (not sure about qualifiers, like excluding WRs that are 1/1).
In one league, Johnson and Crabtree are unexpectedly scoring about the same as Cobb for me, about top 15ish. It is just two games, so small sample, but they both seem well positioned going forward. Gates return could create more space to operate in between the 20s, though no doubt it would almost certainly negatively impact scoring opps.Humongous value considering where he was drafted. Randall Lloyd.Randall Lloyd was born to play wr. He's a lab creation mix of Antwan Randle El, Malcom Floyd, and Brandon Lloyd. Kid's got WR pedigree.
