Stop talking about Favre petition (1 Viewer)

says the guy that wanted people to provide proof of any trade that involved a clause that the player would not then be traded to another team...yet was unwilling to provide proof of any such secondary trade actually happening.
Is there some online translator I can go to that will help make sense of this?

This was widely reported as a routine thing.
Fine. I'll settle for a link that says that.
Sho nuff only asks for facts, he doesn't provide them! You know the rules!

You wanted proof that trades happen in the NFL? I'll ask Greg Aiello.
Wow...more spin...no...that is not what I said.I wanted proof that a team often trades a player...only to turn around and immediately trade that player to another team.

You wanted people to prove that teams could do something to prevent it...but were unwilling to provide proof that such a trade has ever happened or is even possible.

Its that simple.

Yes. Go to babblefish and click on the dropdown box, then select "Anal-retentive nitpicker-ese".

Your buddy Scotty has a do as I say not as I do attitude.

Funny how the team and the agent knew of no pending announcement. But some assistant was blabbing about something.
Oh, it was funny all right. As funny as making a big deal about whether you are going to retire or not for a few years and then when you finally do retire and make a big deal about that, you don't. It's freakin' hilarious.

I just realized why I'm so annoyed at Favre's act... it's like the co-worker that announces he's quitting, and everyone throws him a big bash, buys him a bunch of drinks and a farewell gift.. then they guy comes back a month later and tries to act like nothing happened.

Not really...the trade thing came up long before any Berrian thing.I have provide some links on Berrian and explained my position...you are simply lying about my quotes about Atlanta and Miami and are always unwilling to provide anything to backup your claims.
