These guys are the most underrated players in FBB in my opinion. The best k/9's come from these guys, and the good ones can get you 7-9 wins and some cheap saves. Would like to get a list going of the top non-closing RP's this year.

Aroldis Chapman

Javy Guerra

Jon Rauch

Tyler Clippard

Mark Melancon

Jonny Venters

Francisco Rodriguez

Mike Adams

David Robertson

Sergio Romo

Aroldis is moving to the rotation, but even so, I agree, he's a huge target of mine.Guerra, Rauch, and Melancon are mediocre pitchers. Their value is tied to saves, only. The rest are both strong relievers and quality backups in case that team's closer goes down. Personally, I do not invest in any of these types at draft time though. I love stud MR's, but think a much more formidable strategy is to make flyers elsewhere now and fill gaps later with MR's w/high K/9 and closer potential.

Yep.Couple of guys who aren't mediocre are Benoit and Pestano.

I like the theory but depends on roster size and league size. To get their full value you need to plug them in...set it and forget it every week. Otherwise you miss out on the wins and innings they eat up trying to plug in a spot starter for K's, lower WHIP/ERA, etc. At that point they become a low end starter.

Probably why they are always available...
