Kazmir is throwing smoke today! 8K's after 3 innings, Roy is doing decent giving up a hr to Baldelli and a couple of hits. Tune in if you can.

Kazmir 9k after 4 innings. Halladay gets a hell of a DP to bail him out of trouble in the 4th.

9 strikeouts in 5 innings isn't worth anything when you give up 4 runs...

Not a good 5th for Kazmir, he gives up a 3 run hr with 2 out to Reed Johnson. Tried to blow a fastball by him to end the inning but ended up over the fence. On another note D Young has a cannon for an arm in RF. He threw a line drive bullet from mid right to home plate.

9 strikeouts in 5 innings isn't worth anything when you give up 4 runs...

He made a mistake and it cost him. The 1st 4 inninngs were masterful but you have to play 9.

Halladay strikes out the side in the 5th. 7k's for him. 4-2 Tor.

An unspectacular 6th for both pitchers. Both give up a couple of hits and TB gets another run. Pitch counts are getting high.

I think he's done after finishing the 7th. Kazmir gets in a jam but works his way out of it. 10k after 7.

TB bullpen gives up 2 in the eigth. Final Tor 6 TB 3 with Halladay picking up the W and Kazmir the L.

Kazmir's stuff is just sick. I think he k'd the first 8 outs in the ballgame.

But the pitch counts will always a concern if he relies so much on the strikeout, not just a lot of pitches, but high stress pitches at that. Roy on the other hand thrives on easy outs, and keeping the pitch count low so he can last longer in games.
