Ok.. we havent had much to talk about today, so this article has been on CBS for a couple of days, but I thought the premise could start some discussion.
We've all heard the "curse of losing the super bowl", but I've never really taken the time to think about how that affected the players of the team itself. So, the key players for each Super Bowl loser in the past 4 years are listed below (article goes back to 2000), and what you see is that the players almost unilaterally regress from their super bowl season ( Darrell Jackson, Westbrook, and Delhomme are among the short list of notable exceptions). Of course some of it can be attributed to change in roster, scheme, etc., but some of it just seems to be a general let down of the team as a whole.
So... anybody gonna try and distance themselves from the Pats or Giants next year?
