Comedy of course being subjective, what comedies do you like? Everybody has different taste in what's funny versus what's not and it doesn't always make sense, which explains why Arrested Development was canceled after three seasons and The Big Bang Theory is a hit show.

this will never make sense to me. for reasons unknown and for which i am embarrassed about, my wife watches this show.I think it is horrible and unfunny on nearly every level.The schtick was semi-funny for 5-7 episodes (yes, i gave it a shot)but now it's so played out and horrible.Then again, 2.5 men is still on also.... so maybe i don't get popular programming.

Yep. And except for a chuckle here and a chuckle there, this movie did not make me laugh. And I love modern movies like 40-Year Old Virgin, Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Wedding Crashers, as well as the classics like The Holy Grail, Caddyshack, etc., so I am not immune to laughing. Far from it. Comedies are probably my favorite type of movie. Superbad just isn't funny, at least not to me.

Count me in this group. Outside of a couple parts I thought the movie was awful.

I thought the Evan character was the worst part of the movie. What HS kid on Earth acts like he did?

Not fishing. What kid in HS turns down BJs from hot chicks and toasts "respecting women" at parties. That kid did everything he could to NOT get laid... pretty unrealistic if you ask me.
