Swift + 2nd to get D Henry in Dynasty League? (1 Viewer)

I'm in a 10 team contract dynasty league, .5ppr.

I have an offer where I get D. Henry for Swift and 2026 2nd.

I'm not sure why, but it feels like the 2nd is a bit too much.

Yes, I like Henry and he is an upgrade over Swift, but I would be on the hook for another year with his contract at 32 yrs old.

Am I just tripping and this a smash accept?

I don't know what the contract implications are and what they would cost you in regards to other moves you could make.

Unless this puts you over the top for a title run I likely would stay away

It would improve me IMO as I think Henry s better than Swift (Swift's end of season schedule s brutal) but they are both under contract through next season... Henry is at $20 vs Swift's $10. The cost wouldn't effect me too much. I have salary to play with.

But would it just put me over the top? That's I guess debatable even though I feel I have a good team. I just feel I need an upgrade, or more stable, RB than Swift, Dowdle and my gang of hopefuls. Lol

Swift + Golden + 2nd for D Henry + Benson + Kraft?

I feel like this is better value as I get a young RB and a good TE back in return.

I smash accepted that one..You will never start Golden with your WR, get another RB for the year in Benson and BIG upgrade at TE

He pulled back on that extended deal, insists he has to have a 2nd to do the deal and wants Monangai thrown in. I keep telling him I can't do a 2nd for a 32 yr old RB who has a chance to be washed next season and I'm on the hook paying him. But he's not coming off that 2nd. So, looks like a real impasse and is not going to happen.

The multi-deal was extremely lopsided toward the 'Henry + Benson + Kraft' combo, so no surprise he passed.

If it was borderline before, I'd pass if he now also wants Monangai. If he's the future in Chicago, that's like a 2nd rounder right there. It would either be "Swift + 2nd" or "Swift + Monangai" but not all three.

I'd consider it for this season - agree Henry ROS has much greater value than Swift. But I'm not familiar enough w Dynasty leagues to gauge the worth of that 2nd rounder. Maybe worth it - you're trading a little of your future for a better chance at a title this season. But you have good young potential on your bench already too.
