Tampa Bay defense? (1 Viewer)

Tampa looked great in pre-season, I really felt they were gonna be tough as nails this year but w/the offense struggling like they are, do ya cut bait this early on a solid defense? or what simply gives am I missing something?

they will be on the field all year if Simms can't get anything going (or the rookie when Gruden yanks him. ) Thoughts from any homers?

Brian Kelly is hurt. Last time he was hurt was the year after the super bowl when their defense turned to swiss cheese. They are always thin at CB and it really hurts them when either Kelly or Barber is not at top form. That is not the only reason for why they are not playing up to standards, but it is one of them. Another is that the offense can't make first downs to give the defense a rest but that is another story.

I'm concerned but in my 10 team league the other 9 teams snatched up 15 other defenses, so I have to stick with what i have
