None as of yet. Though if the Eagles win a Super Bowl in my life time I have sworn to get one. Looks like I will be safe for a few seasons.

I have 3. I'm pondering getting a big spread on my back. That'll be expensive! :lmao:
My friend got angel wings on his back (yeah dont ask, i think they look dumb). Thing took 3 sessions and cost around $800. My brother has a big tribal piece on his back (think Batista from the WWE). Thing took 5 hours and cost him $500.

I like the giant angel wings as long as the detail is good

The cost sounds about right. I have a friend that has a big piece on his back and I think he said it cost over $600 (good deal) and took a few sittings.I was thinking about getting some angelic/robotic wore torn wings with awesome detail. Still pondering though.

what would you like me to answer for option 2 since I have no tattoos

it won't let you vote on poll 1 and then null vote poll 2

10, I think. It's been a while since I got one, and I had some tats covered up with bigger ones. I honestly don't even notice them much anymore.

I would never get a tattoo. Don't see the point.
With some tatoos I hear you but I'd imagine most have meaning to the tattooe(sp?). With a portrait or tribute to a lost loved one I'd imagine it could have a tremendious healing affect, same deal if you're proud of someone/thing might give you a great sence of pride. I don't have any personally but I can see the meaning they may have for some

My sister had a frog tattoo on her leg when she turned 18. Kind of a rebel thing to piss off the old man.

Cost = $40 (10 years ago)

Fast foward 10 years, 2-husbands and 3-kids (of her own) and she decides it wasn't such a good idea.

Cost to remove = $1000.

Sisters can be such dumbasses.... :lmao:

Sorry no

USMC on upper right arm at 17 in Twenty-Nine Palms, CA

"Who Dares Wins" wrapped around dagger through a heart on my left forearm at 18 outside MCAS Futenma in Okinawa, Japan

I've considered another. I'd either like to get the forearm one removed, or add a few to that arm. It's such a crappy tattoo.

What did you get covered up? And why?
A German Eagle (upper shoulder) and an Iron Cross (lower shoulder/upper arm). I liked them, but they were just too small and looked kind of silly since my arms are pretty big. The German Eagle was covered up with a bigger eagle, and the Iron Cross is now worked into the design of the eagle. The claws of the eagle grasps the cross, and I also added a band of smaller Iron Crosses around my arm.

 I got all mine when I was in the Corps...but I never got one symbolizing the good ol' USMC.

I have one on my right bicep that has Asian origin. It's a symbol that, according to Asian belief, keeps good spirits around and bad spirits away...kinda like a ying-yang type thing but I had them add some tribal to it to "toughen" it up :X . This was my first one that I got while I was in Combat Training school in North Carolina.

I have a Tribal design on my left gun...seemed pretty different from any of the other designs I've seen. I got this one just on a whim while I was driving around down in Jacksonville, Florida.

My 3rd is of a "sinister sun". It is on my left calf. It symbolizes the fact that I grew up on the beaches down in North Florida and the sun/heat down there can be ruthless.

Same here. Although I have 4 USMC/Military tats.Left arm - EGA with USMC below it.

Left shoulder - US Marine Corps banner with some other related text

Left Pec - POW/MIA Flag

Lower rib cage - Meat tags

I just have one. It's a mural covering my entire torso of a hedonistic orgy featuring every US president and every Oscar winner since 1963. Don Knotts is in there, too, I believe.

I have 6 (will be getting my 7th sometime after the summer). I got my 1st when I was 19.
I'm curious as to why you are waiting.
1) Im on a diet. Told myself as a goal if I get down to my target weight by end of July (lose 19 lbs) I will get it. I have already lost 13 in 5 weeks :no:2) Im waiting for my SIL to desing something for me. I have a general idea of what I want (a nice tribal piece on my forearm).3) Bad idea to get tattoos in the summertime. Can get ruined by the sun or chlorine water if I go in a pool.

Oh and most of my tattoos have no meaning. I just love the way they look & the artwork. I dont regret a single one!

Commemorating his fine work in the Ghost and Mr. Chicken I hope. How that Cat did not win an Oscar for that role, or his role in The Incredible Mr. Limpit is beyond me. Academy politics I'm guessing.

Oh. Thanks.

A reflection of your sound judgment no doubt.
So you're saying people that get tattoos have bad judgment?
Coupled with low intelligence and self esteem, yes. Of course it's just an opinion so don't let it ruin your day, unless of course your intelligence and self esteem require such.
:thanks: low intelligence? :( self esteem Ill give you. I think I have that and love how getting a tattoo makes me feel.

When my students tell me that the day they turn 18 they will get a tatoo, I always suggest a tear drop below the eye, or a Mike Tyson special.

Anybody here have a face tatoo? I'd sure like to hear the thought process behind that decision.

I hear employers are actually seeking out those with face tats. Pictures on resumes are very popular these days.
