Taylor Mehlhaff (1 Viewer)

I'm watching his battle with Gramatica this preseason as NO looks to put up some big points and the winner of the kicking job should be a good sleeper for a K1. Reports have them neck and neck.

Same here. They both can be had pretty cheap and should be a great value play.

so if they're neck and neck ... won't the saints go with youth AND the one who they actually spent a pick on in 08?

seem they would feel obligated to not feel like they wasted a sixth rounder if all other things are equal

That's my feeling. All things being equal, things simply aren't equal. They signed Gramatica as a FA and probably could readily do that again if Mehlhaff fails.
