TE talent pool (1 Viewer)

With my new addition to the family occupying most of my time, Im just getting back into this addiction of mine. 2 questions: Shouldnt V.Shiancoe be mentioned somewhere? Unless Im missing something they lost a huge RZ target in Rice and with Mcnabb there's at least a very capable QB at the helm..? My first thought when Rice left was bump him but hes ranked somewhere in 15-20th??

2. Any chance Evan Moore is a Colston 2.0?? During Colstons rookie year he began as a TE but some leagues did switch him to WR while Yahoo and others left him at TE so he was a waiver diamond. Im really thinking about going WR/QB/TE heavy in my first 4 picks so would like to know if these guys could kill at TE then maybe Id consider RB after all around 3-4. Thx!

I like him as a backup te because he could produce as a TD threat again but his yardage and catch totals are not high enough to justify taking him as a starter in ppr leagues imo. If McNabb looks to him during a couple of preseason games, I would bet he rises up the adp list.

Wha? Colston? This is Evan's 3rd year in the league. He's shown flashes of potential in games here and there but can't stay healthy. I'd be shocked if he can keep it together for any length of time based on his laundry list of ailments so far. Watson is probably the Cleve TE to own for this year and J. Cameron down the road.

McNabb does like to use his TEs so I am a bit shocked that Shiancoe has all but disappeared but I still can't see placing him in the top 16 TEs so I'm not seeing him as a team's vaiable everyweek starter in PPR in even the largest of leagues. I would much rather have him as a backup TE that I can get VERY late.

did read somewhere that Moore is lighting it up in camp.....

The Vikes drafted a pretty good pass catching TE as well. May not be enough balls for either of them to be worthy targets even with McNabb's propensity for checking down to the TE.

All true. Moore looking excellent. NOT moving to wr. Watson still #1 TE. Right now is WAY ahead of Cameron. IMO, Watson fades out soon (in 2011? after?), Moore becomes #1, Cameron #2. Beyond 2012 is too fuzzy to make a guess on.
