Hi All,
Just curious if anyone knows what a team sack is, or how it is scored? By definition everywhere I can find, a sack is when the QB is tackled behind the line of scrimmage. In the PHI/NE game last night, Feely was "sacked" for a ZERO yard loss and it was awarded to NE as a "team sack". No yardage lost, no IDP given credit for a sack. Of course, I will lose my game by this one point his D gets for the sack and be all but eliminated from playoff contention (the tie would be just as good to me as the win). Any information anyone has on this would be appreciated - I can't find anything good on the web. Checked NFL Gamebook, ESPN and NFL and all show the team sack.
