Im not even close to doing my actual projections, but what stood out to me...

Are your projections for Roethlisberger based on him missing 4 or 6 games? I expect him to only miss 4 games and would put his yardage more around 3100 or so

With Roethlisberger out at least 4 games, I think theyll really lean on Mendenhall early and especially at the GL. 7 TDs for him looks real low to me. Id think he's more in the 11-12 TD range and a near lock for double digit rushing TDs barring injury.

I think Emmanuel Sanders will get significantly more catches and yard than 10/127...Id think more like 25/320. Not a big deal because he's not worth a roster spot in redraft anyway, though

I'm projecting Roethlisberger to play 10 games. Last I heard, he was not planning to appeal the six-game suspension.

As I understand it he doesn't need to appeal to have the suspension reduced from six to four.......Goodell can/will do that if he likes everything he sees from Big Ben

This is what I read also. KDKA article Ben will have to jump through some hoops and avoid potentially bad situations. Ben said all along that he would comply with whatever suspension was handed to him.Chances are greater Ben will serve 4 games than 6 imo.

Ok projections, although not really going out on a limb as most of them are pretty similar to last year. But yeah, odds are more likely Ben will miss 4 rather than 6, assuming he doesn't get drunk at a bar to celebrate getting it reduced to 4...

All I know is Ben's representative David Cornell said he and Ben consider it a 4 game suspension adding they intend to do everything and more as laid out by Goodell.

MT-

Good work! Barring injury I'd bet the over on each of your predictions for Mendenhall:

Rashard Mendenhall: 261 rushes for 1115 yards and 7 touchdowns; 22 receptions for 184 yards and 1 touchdowns.

It's possible that Mewelde could vulture some 3rd down work and someone else may vulture the goalline duties but at this point I think the offense will be built around Mendenhall. I think he'll be good for 20 carries and 2-3-4 receptions most weeks and likely even more of a focal point during the period Roethlisberger is suspended.

My prediction for Mendenhall:

305 rushes for 1300 yards and 10 TD. 45 receptions for 360 yards and 1 TD.

where do you guys see wallace ending up this year now that santonio has left?
Wallace was a pleasant surprise last season after being frustrated watching Sweed circumscribe the offense. As a football fan, I like Wallace so much that I bought the jersey. Fantasy wise though, I believe Heath comes out the big winner. He will be in there for all those run plays earning more chances to work the middle and run a seam route or two.

I don't see Mike Wallace being a true fantasy breakout guy this year, so considering where some might have him higher on their boards, I don't know if he'll be worth it at the pick he'll likely go at for whatever draft you're in. Football wise, he's a burner with good hands, but he still has a ways to go to rounding out his game. For a lot of the year he looked kind of uncomfortable out there, especially with some of the route running he wasn't asked to do in college and running after the catch. I think that should improve with time and as he gets more comfortable at the NFL level, but I don't know if that comes right away in year two. Potentially, he could be a huge pickup if Ward were to go down, and it's been awhile since Ward made it through a NFL season unscathed... but I don't think we're looking at a guy who's going to catch 70 passes or put up over 1,000 yards. Would love to be wrong though.

Mewelde Moore: 32 rushes for 128 yards and 1 touchdowns; 16 receptions for 128 yards and 1 touchdown.

Jonathan Dwyer: 64 rushes for 256 yards and 2 touchdowns; 2 receptions for 18 yards and 0 touchdowns.

Carey Davis: 12 rushes for 48 yards and 0 touchdowns; 2 receptions for 10 yards and 0 touchdowns.

Your smokin crack if you think Wallace will outproduce Hines Ward. Same folks said Holmes would post better numbers every year and well...OK, you have Ward with more Receptions and Tds...Wallace won't get 1,000 yds...he was running wide open with Holmes, Ward, and Miller eating up all the coverage. This year he has to help draw away coverage, I don't see it.Wallace 2010= Lance Morre 2009 in terms of being uber over drafted. Also Lefty is not going to find him the 1st 4 games of the season, he'll be locked at the hip to Hines Ward who likely is calling the plays in the huddle(lil sarcasm)

You're right... I like Wallace a lot, but I think I was downplaying the fact that he won't have Ward AND Holmes there drawing away coverage... He'll be facing better corners. I was also probably downplaying how crappy his stats will be in the first four games this year. He probably won't get on track until about week 6. I tweaked the numbers up for Ward and down for Wallace.
