Reports are that Tebow may see some time as RB due to the injuries to the Jets backfield. It could be just talk, it could be just for the NE game but is there any chance, and this is a LONG shot that if Tebow plays enough games/time at RB that he gets classified as one and will have multi-position flexibility (see James Casey this year or McCluster last year)? I'm noy saying he'd be a roster worthy RB but if Sanchez ever gets hurt/benched and Tebow then takes over at QB you'd now have a QB2 that is RB eligible whose real value would be of a RB1 based on his past performance as a starting QB.
Can this happen? I'm not sure what criteria sites use to designate position but if Tebow takes a bunch of snaps the next few games as a RB do sites have to consider classifying him as one? Right now in redrafts Tebow is probably on the waiver wire but if this scenario (admittedly long shot at best) can ever play out then Tebow as the starting QB for the NYJ would be a waiver wire gem if he qualifies as RB. This type of scenario is much more prevelent in fantasy baseball in leagues with low minimum game requirements but IF the Jets backfield continues to be plagued by injuries and IF Tebow fills in as a RB for a few weeks and IF Sanchez gets benched week 11....
