Teeth Whitening (1 Viewer)

My teeth could use some whitening.  Any opinions/recommendations?

Dentist offices are charging $350-$500 for the Zoom treatment (which is bleach in a fitted tooth tray and an LED whitening lamp), or a dentist will just make the trays for $75/each, and sell me the bleach for $45 for 4 tubes.

Best selling at home methods are AuraGlow  or Crest Whitestrips each for $50.

Dentist got me the Crest white strips, think they were 60, don’t know if they were extra strength or anything. I was amazed at how well they worked. I’m a heavy coffee and tea drinker. I used them only on top, twice a day for 20 mins (per Dentist instructions).

I second the crest white strips. Get the professional grade ones. And also get one of those UV light things you put in your mouth while you wear em.  They’re shown as a related thing on amazon. The combination works really well. I haven’t done em in a while but need to get back to it. I would throw them on in the morning while dumping, shaving and showering. Didn’t add any time to my daily routine.

Hydrogen Peroxide is a good cheap way to maintain those pearly whites after treatment.  I often swish with it a few times a week.  Half water/ half 5% HP

I think all whitening damages your enamel so do so judiciously

Pretty sure that is if you scrub with it. I layer it on in big paste blobs and let it set for 5 minutes and then rinse free.
