Thornton has been placed on the PUP meaning Witherspoon is a 3dn back to start the season

McGrath should quickly step back into a starting role, since the only guy he needs to pass is Jamie Winborn. He might not play all 3 downs, though. And things might get muddled when David Thornton comes off the PUP, since Tulloch and Witherspoon are both playing so well.

(Rotoworld) With LB Gerald McRath off suspension, Titans coach Jeff Fisher indicated Monday that McRath won't immediately be installed as a starter.
Analysis: McRath has impact potential on defense, but Fisher apparently intends to ease him in. "He'll be involved on special teams and will see some defensive action," said Fisher of McRath. "How much he'll play I don't know."
