Terrarium TV (1 Viewer)

Not sure how many others use Kodi (I use it for watching movies, shows, and listening to music on my home network), but latest update basically bricked the software. They’re working to fix it, but I had to side install it on my Shield and start from scratch. No big deal since I only use it for personal media, but annoying nonetheless. Just an FYI for any of you if you see an error on startup in the last day or two.

Switching over to Voodoo from Kemo Sat since I am not a fan of Crypto payments and my renewal is looming. Try it out for a year and see what happens after that.

Stremio is my service of choice these days. Just need to pay for a Real Debrid subscription.

Enormous upgrade from Cinema HD.

So I had a real debrid sub from when I used Cinema HD...I assume the process is the same? Just download Stremio, and then add my Real Debrid user ID and info and I'm good?

May need to do that tonight.

Looked it up, and it's wayyyy too much work to set it up, I'm sticking with Cinema.
I downloaded Stremio an hour or so ago, and I've had zero luck getting the add-ons to work. The app on my Fire TV tells me to go to my phone or PC to do it...my phone tells me the links are dead, and my PC doesn't do anything...It looks nice as a combined interface for a bunch of pay streaming services, but as a Cinema HD replacement, at first glance, I agree - too complicated.

I remember it taking me 10 minutes.

Download Stremio to your computer. Create your account. Install the Torrentio addon.

Then you install on your fire stick/tv and all the addons/settings should carry over if I remember correctly.

I remember the key being to do it on your computer first.

Try TeaTV. 5 or 10 second adds before the show will start, but, way more quality links than Cinema.
I don't have any issues with Cinema with real-debrid, I just like checking out the new apps sometimes to see what's up. I've had Tea TV, ended up going back to good Ole Cinema.

Yup, a handy guide I used: https://www.reddit.com/r/StremioAdd...a_howto_guide/?share_id=a---WJ5jdG2Lou7nUS4hc

Yeah the difference is RD. I don't pay for anything. Tea has a bunch of streams that always work, for now.

Real Debrid is probably going away very soon if not already. They were essentially told by the French government to stop allowing searches of their pirated content. Which means apps like Cinema and Stremio will stop working with RD streams.

Be careful with whatever media player you are using that may be connected to it. If they are no longer RD links, you may no longer have the protection it gave encrypting your downloads.

A replacement will likely emerge soon. There are options now, but I usually wait for the dust to settle when this happens.

I just set up FlixVision with RD and the links are working fine. Couldn't get some RD links to with in Cinema earlier.

Yeah apparently it’s a slow death and some things still work. I wouldn’t extend a subscription anytime soon though.

Well it WAS working until I posted about it. WTF

edit: I re-upped an old All Debrid account and got HD links back.

I switched from real debrid and all debrid to a Premiumize subscription for HD links and it's been as good as the former two.

Also went back to Cinema HD since it integrates with premiumize and I've had no problems since.

My RD sub just expired. Was going to re-up it for a couple of months. Guess I'll have to check out premiumize instead. Cinema has been by go to for the last 6months. No real issues there.

So RD is working. The apps found a workaround to somehow manually maintain links, rather than using the API which is what they were told to shut down.

Not sure what I'm going to do when it's time to resubscribe.

Went out for about a week. I was just about to sign up for something else that's 3x as much and it started working again. Order has been restored in the pirate universe.

Interesting. My RD sub is good til late Feb and my Premiumize sub expires next week (I only got a single month sub to check ot out) so I guess it's back to RD for now.

Switching over to Voodoo from Kemo Sat since I am not a fan of Crypto payments and my renewal is looming. Try it out for a year and see what happens after that.
I used to use Voodoo and it wasn't terrible, but some channels would buffer a lot and some channels when selected would be a totally different channel. I have kemo, but it seems to take forever to load a channel when selecting it. I have been using liveTV, which I like a lot for quality, but if you don't use their app (I use tivimate), the guide currently does not work and hasn't for a while. They don't seem to be in a big hurry to fix it. They are a crypto payment as well, which is a pain, but I usually go 6 months so it isn't terrible.

I went back to Kemo/Lemo. Voodoo sucks imo

Voodoo was ok when I first started and was cheap, but the longer I used it, the worse it got. I have had great luck with liveTV other than the guide issue which sucks because I really like using tivimate. I have just started pulling guide info from other sources and assigning to the channels which has helped.

Which Voodoo are you guys using? I'm on voodoostreams.cc and it's been amazing for 5+ years. They've been on lockdown for new subs for years, it's probably why it's still so reliable. At $9/mo, it's quite a deal IMO.

That is what I was using. It got to the point when I was trying to watch a Twins game on Bally sports north, It would switch to completely different programming. When I would report it, the reply I would get is "Find another way to watch it". That and the buffering was never a problem on their end. I got tired of it, especially the wrong channels so I switched.

Huh. I dont use the sports channels in groups, I just tune in to whatever local network (FOX, NBC, CBS, ABC) is showing the game I want and I've never had a problem, but I don't watch baseball so I don't know if works like the NFL as far as televised games go.

There's also an MLB group that I've never looked at.

But as far as everyday use and for Sports and PPVs, Voodoo has never let me down.

This is the best answer. Now for national games like MNF, I go to the Canadian sports channels to watch it. For Sunday games, i go to smaller markets to watch it. For example, if I want Chicago-Green Bay I avoid Chicago and Milwaukee/GB channels. I look for channels that few would look to watch on - Rockford Ill, South Bend, In, etc.

Addressing the baseball, instead of watching the Twins feed, go to the opposing team’s channel and try that. I’ve rarely been shutout of watching what I wanted in over 5 years.

Real Debrid dead? Hasn't been working for me in a couple weeks.

EDIT: nvm, just realized I wasnt getting links for TV shows but am for movies. Weird.
