Any new word?
I believe he'll start, locally it seems to be not big deal. I believe the Cowboys pre-game show comes on at 9:00am, I'll post what I hear.

What time is the DAL-WAS game?

Anybody else considering benching him now with this news?

I've got A.Bryant waiting......but I wanted to play T.Glenn b/c I felt like he was due to have a breakout game when WAS def concentrated on TO and Witten leaving T.Glenn to get free deep.

this post shouldn't even matter.... Romo --- T.O.
or witten...weird that romo doesn't look at glenn, but alas i need him...
:bs: Last week TO had 10 target and Glenn had 8. Romo has done a better job of spreading the ball around.I'm listening to Countdown to Kickoff (Cowboy offical Pre-game Show) nothing yet on Glenn.

Cowboys report right now is that the GTD in which ESPN is reporting is not true but he is probable which means he has a 75% chance of playing.

A more in depth report coming in 20 mins from Micky Spagnola (reporter for the Cowboys), they are also reporting they'll let him run on the field between 10:30-11:30 to see how he feels.

11:07am update from Rotoworld...

ESPN's John Clayton reports there's a "good chance" Terry Glenn (quadriceps) will not be ready for Sunday's bout with Washington.

Glenn was listed as probable, which was a bit misleading. Pat Crayton will likely start if Glenn can't play. The inactives will be up shortly.

Basically same thing I heard. Very unlikely that he will play, a GTD.

Cowboys WR Terry Glenn will play Sunday, according to ESPN's Ed Werder.

While he's not 100%, Glenn has a good matchup against a shaky Washington pass defense.

According to Micky at Fed Ex Field, he just reported that Glenn along with WR coach Todd Haley were on the field. He's been getting treatment for his injury.

He also said Glenn did not come out with the rest of the WRs, but he's going to try and play today. He also said that Miles Austin is out on the field warming up with the rest of the WRs just in case Glenn gets hurt or can't go.

He said "Looks like Glenn is going to try and play."

In your opinion, do you think:

A) Glenn toughs it out the whole game and has a chance at a decent day, or

B) He plays a few token plays and decides he can't do it?

I could care less if he starts. I want to know if he can finish.

I just made a free agent pick up for Crayton...I'm going to plug him in even if Glenn is "playing". With S. Smith on a bye and Chad Jackson dinged up with that hammy, Crayton is my best option :bag:

Either is possible, but B seems uncomfortably likely.

I'm still listening to the Cowboys Network, all they are saying is that he'll start. They reported that the injury was more of a "tweak" and that it was bothering him in last weeks game. It was also mentioned that he's not on the field with the other WRs for precautionary reasons, but he'll be ready to go.Outside of this, I really don't know if your questions can be answered honestly because we don't know if he'll "tweak" it again or not. They also reported that the treatment has been going well.

Thanks for the update. Although I like the "uncomfortably likely" comment above, I'll probably stay with him at this point.

 No problem. If they say anything else prior to the game, I'll post what I hear.

The cowboy radio guys are saying that Glenn is not on the field at the moment. unclear if he is just being heldout until right at gametime or not.

I'm going Welker over Glenn. Glenn seems like option #3 with Romo even if healthy. Love the matchup but can't risk a goose egg. I could of used Jennings or Glenn today too.

Plenty of injury info here. How about a discussion to see if a guy who has an injury is worth starting over another option you may have who is healthy? How about a discussion about how even if healthy Glenn has slid down the pecking order with Romo at the helm. I personally like to see what others are going to do and what other players they may consider as a replacement. Are you going to play him if he's able to start? How about adding something.

Until he is healthy i say he is a must-sit, with romo in town i dont think glenn is more than a wr3 from here on out.

Your point is good, it's just that this is the wrong forum for it. These pinned threads are supposed to be for information. If someone is wanting to get other's opinions and the like as you explained they should go over to the coaching forum, or even in the regular part of the shark forum. The pinned game day injury stuff is best if not clutered with anything but official reporting. That said, I just added to the mess by commenting on your comment. Cheers!

With Boulding on Bye, I have him starting. My only other options are LEndale, J Porter or Lelie. Those guys just all have too many questions to consider, unless I get word Glenn is out.

I do think if/when healthy he remains a sold #3 who sometimes gets #2 or even #1 stats. If ROmo continues to target Owens, defenses will adjust and Glenn will get more opps. He did get six targets last week and one running play. He's done way to much this season to dismiss him after one subpar game.

Well said. Personally I agree that Glenn is a WR3/ ow end WR2 with Romo. Romo has shown he likes to throw to Whitten (who BTW is going up in my rankings for the year to around his pre-season ranking level and now a must start at TE IMO) and Owens. Add in Glenn's injury and I'm going with Muhamad in 1 league and Jordan in another at my Flex spots.

:lmao: I'm not one for the spelling police, but this one was not close.
