Texans at Colts (1 Viewer)

Nice drive by the Colts. Texans had a couple chances to stop the drive, near chance for a pick 6 but couldn't get it done. Why Brandon Harris was covering Reggie Wayne on the goal line on third down instead of Jonathan Joseph I don't get.

haven't had a chance to see much of the texans this year. they're starting to smell like the annual bye team that loses at home in round one. am i way off base here? how do they look? and on the flip side, are the colts going to be favored on the road against the ravens? the colts and the ravens seem to be trending in opposite directions.

No chance. The Colts haven't been getting much love from Vegas this year, and I doubt that will change in the playoffs, even against a Ravens team that looks vulnerable.

Horrible call, and even worse that it was called correctly on the field and then reversed upon review.

How is that not a fumble? And if it wasn't a fumble, it's a backwards pass, no?
Yep, awful call. The ball going backwards should have made whether or not his arm going forward irrelevant.
The ball going backwards doesn't make whether or not his arm was going forward irrelevant. If the arm is going forward, it's incomplete. That said, I don't think his arm was going forward. That said part two, even if his arm wasn't going forward, the tuck rule might make it a forward pass anyway (although that's not what they called).

Karma for Vontae Davis after the PI - easy pickoff on an underthrown Schaub pass

That said, there were not receivers in the vicinity of where he could've been passing. If he threw the ball, it would've been intentional grounding. An all around awful call. Can't believe the reversed the correct call.

Not that it matters, but did anyone else notice that Ballard scored his TD at 2:04 but the clock just ran down to 2:00 anyway?

A different crew may have called that a defensless receiver - it just depends on those - I agree with the no call there

This Texans team is great at clutching defeat from the jaws of victory. They just can't get out of their own ways.

Frustrating game. Texans killing themselves with penalties and mistakes. The pass rush is getting enough heat on Luck that if they cleaned that up and Schaub eats some spinach so he can hit guys downfield, they could have a comfortable lead. Instead trailing by 8. Frustrating.

Luck's going to be scary when he gets another WR to throw to and an offensive line that can block.

Wayne gets hit as a defenseless receiver and no penalty. I've seen it called for much less.
So you've seen bad calls before. It wasn't a penalty, didn't hit his head or neck.
What about the ball was clearly incomplete and at his feet?! Watch it again.
That doesn't make it an illegal hit on a defenseless receiver. That would be a different penalty that has nothing to do with your complaint.

You win. Change my complaint to late hit or unsportsmanlike conduct. Feel better?

Life isn't lived in slow mo. That was a clean play. We're definitely still waiting for the makeup call on that bizarre fumble reversal.

it was a good no call

Now Foster is turning it on and the Colts D from last week decided to come out for the second half

This Texans team reminds me alot of the Cowboys with Owens in the 13-3 year where they lost to the Giants. Lots of talent, but seemingly lacking in heart.

slight hop/limp for Foster as he comes off the field

ETA - looks ok now on sideline
