Brutal. Detroit reminds me of SF from a few years ago. Lots of talent on the team but too many key players with ego problems and a bad coach. Next Lions coach should be able to have success if the players buy i like Singletary got the Niners to do (but he couldn't coach well enough, he just molded them into a team mentality, ripe for Harbaugh to lead).

No dog in this fight, but the NFL has a knack for creating idiotic rules that get in the way of just getting the damn call right. I have no problem with penalizing Detroit for throwing the challenge flag -- although 15 yards seems like a lot considering that the clock was stopped anyway -- but this should not be a 7 point penalty.

The refs and NFL conspired to spot their opponents a touchdown. I'd say they have a right to complain. Considering that most teams don't feature a 7-point favorite, that gift touchdown is a lot.
