Jets aren't going to blitz and show there hand too much today. Base defense this game for most snaps.

It's their biggest problem. They have to rely on blitzes (which they're not really using tonight) to get a pass rush.

OK got the sound down so as to not disturb the wife/kids. Screen says Plax on the Phone. Why is Plax on the phone? Shouldn't he be lined up on the sidelines with all the other injured Jets?

I assume they didn't want Plex to fly with a bad ankle. Flights are bad for swelling.The Texans are going to use the RB a lot this year. The line is still solid. They will pass to the RB out of the backfield. If Foster is healthy, I'm expecting a Priest Holmes year 2 here. Hopefully he is back at practice this week pain free and people aren't paying attention. He could fall to some lucky SOB.

I don't think most injured Jets even traveled with the team. Nick Mangold has been tweeting the whole game, so I guess they decided there was no reason to fly the injured players down if there was no chance they would play.

The Texans offense is going to be terrible. If their defense is not a lot better with Wade they will not even get close to 8 and 8 this year. Why did they not get a WR2 to go opposite AJ? Kevin Walters and Jacoby Jones are terrible.

I'm impressed there are still fans around to find with the camera. If this is the Meadowlands, there wouldn't be more than 10K still there with 2 minutes to go in a preseason game.

You do know that Johnson and Foster did not play, right? And that Schaub only played the first quarter?Those three kind of make the Texans offense run a little better. Or maybe I'm just delusional.(I do agree that the Texans should have upgraded their WR2).
Also played with the 4th string RB (5th string if you count Slaton) for all but the first few snaps. Jets had the #3 defense last year, not exactly a pushover.

Yeah and Powell blocked well last night. Got stuffed on short yardage 2x but at least he didn't get McElroy flattened.
