First year of using TFLs in a yahoo league and there's been serious growing pains.

Biggest problem we are having is with sacks. We reduced the points for a sack from 3 down to 2 pts bc (almost) every sack is a TFL (1 pt). We also only count solo tackles (1 pt).

Problem:

- half sacks are only 1 pt (assisted tackle and no TFL)

- 0 yd sacks are only 3 pts (sack, tackle, no TFL)

And now my latest observation...strip sacks are a solo and a sack but not a TFL...

Any other quirks about tackle for loss that I'm missing?? Looking for help in adjusting our scoring:

1pt for solo, tfl, pd

2 pt for sack, fum rec

3 pt for int, fum for

Any help is appreciated!

I have noticed this as well.

I am the commissioner of the league and intended the TFL stat to just count Stuffs but this has become a problem.

If a player gets a single sack it is a 5 pt play (1 pt solo + 1 pt tfl + 3 pt sack).

I don't think I will be using the TFL as a stat category next season.

On the other hand, espn league correctly award the stuff stat.
