It pretty much started for me when Bush I ran on the promise of "no new taxes"...which blew off for his own party.

Then...W Bush spent money like a drunken sailor.

I liked Clinton...the only thing he did that bothered me was lying to Congress.

If he would have just stood up and said "yeah....I got a BJ...Oh, and I wouldn't advise you to smoke that cigar"...I would have really liked him

That's about the time I was old enough to see that politicians care nothing about the country.

Their decisions are based solely on what will further their own careers and what's best for their party.

Yeah...he had his faults...but in my opinion.....Reagan was the best president for the past 150 years.

What really bothers me is the press.

It's their job to uncover the wrongs being done...but they are only on guard for one party.

My god....Barack Obama could kill, skin, and eat a puppy on live television and the media would report that he was making the world safer for future generations of cats!

What bothers me is it it the policies of this government, largely formulated by Republicans with help from moderate conservatives like Clinton, that are destroying the middle class. Since St Ronnie started his supply side bull#### we have seen the middle class take in the shorts while the rich keep getting theirs. It's called supply and demand. When do we start helping the demand side? When do we start making our corporations really pay what they would in any other first world country because they don't today. When are we going to start rebuilding our crumbling infrastructure? When are we going to realize you can't have a champagne country on a beer budget? Got to pay to play.

From the end of WW2, the national debt as a percentage of GDP was moving in a downward trend for 40 years. It reached it's lowest point since at least 1940 the year Reagan took office at 32.5% of GDP. Since then it has climbed dramatically.

So you praise Reagan as the best President in 150 years and in the VERY NEXT PARAGRAPH you cry about the size of the debt, never bothering to connect that the supply-side economics policies enacted while Reagan was in office are the biggest reason for the debt rise.
