After my draft, I felt like I had a few question marks, but no more than any other team. According to the Draft Dominator, I had the 2nd best starting lineup and the best overall team so I was pretty happy. However, we are now entering week 4 and I am 0-3!!! I am sure there are others out there. This thread is not meant to give each other advice on our situations, but to tell what your plan is from here on out- patience, play for next year, make lots of trades, etc. Also, most importantly, to VENT!!!!

My league is 12 teams and we keep 4 players-this was kind of a "restart year" with many new members, so we did a full redraft. Offense is standard scoring with no PPR and 6pts/ passing TD. We use IDP with 1 pt/tackle, 5pts/sack, 6pts/INT, 5pts/FR and 6 pts/TD.

My usual starting lineup is-

QB- Vick (started Trent Green in week 1) with Kitna and recently Grossman as backups

RB- Steven Jackson and Thomas Jones with Droughns, Rhodes, Buckhalter and Turner as backups

WR- Chad Johnson and Randy Moss with Derrick Mason and Eddie Kennison as backups

TE- Ben Watson

K- Jason Elam

DL- 2 of James Hall, Jared Allen and Ty Warren (had Erasmus James to start, picked up Warren)

LB- 2 of Kirk Morrison, DeMeco Ryans, Ernie Sims

CB- 2 of Charles Tillman, Ike Taylor, Anthony Henry

S- Troy Polamalu and Nick Collins

A trend for my whole team is they score NO TDs!!!! Since I started Green in week 1, I got nothing from any player that week. Vick did well in week 2 and CJ scored 1 TD, but the rest did nothing. Week 3 was more of the same.....I needed 15 points from Vick to win and he was terrible(Should have gone with Kitna- I knew Vick couldn't have 3 good games in a row!!).....no one else scored any TDs either. Where to go from here?

My plan is to give this team 1 more week. I originally figured Jackson, Johnson, Moss and Jones (if he held off Benson) to be good for at least 10 TDs each. They have combined for a total of 1 after 3 weeks. With 4 keepers for next year, I have to hold on to Johnson and Jackson and I am hopeful about Michael Turner. I have shopped all the other RBs and Moss with little to no success- a few offers, but nothing really helpful. I am going to let these guys go for one more week, then I may just pack it in and start playing for next year. We can trade draft picks, so I will try to set up my 4 keepers and trade anything else I can for picks next year. Our playoffs have 4 teams- 3 division winners and a wild card, but my division has one team at 3-0 (I actually think they are the weakest team....just made a poor trade and having some injury problems) and 2 other teams at 2-1 that are solid. If I go to 0-4, I don't see any way I can end up beating out 2 or 3 of these teams to make the playoffs.

OK, all you other 0-3 teams....spill your guts here and give us some insight as to what you are planning for your team!!!

First week I played Meshawn over Coles last minute since Smith was hurt

2nd week I played Lee Evans over Meshawn

3rd week I played Lee Evans over Meshawn and Vick over Favre

Team

Vick/Favre/Leinart

Rudi/FWP/Bush/White/M. Morris

Branch/Coles/L.Evans/Meshawn

Gates/LJ Smith

J. Brown

Whatever Defense i pick up in place of TB this week

Good times

12 team dynasty, 0-3, 5th in points for (more points than 3 teams that are 2-1), 2nd in points against.

Plummer, Leftwich, Kitna

Portis, K. Jones, J. Lewis, Betts, Turner, Perry, Buckhalter

Boldin, Owens, Ward, Bruce, T. Taylor

Gonzalez, V. Davis

Graham

Jacksonville, Washington (will be Bengals after waivers)

I am trying to be patient but it is tough starting the season like this and very tempting to jump off the deep end.

I'm 0-4 in a 13 team league (lost a doubleheader in week 2) and allowing an average of 6 points more a game than the next highest team.

QB (1) - Pennington, Plummer

RB (2) - Portis, T.Bell, M.Bell, Green, Maroney, Betts

WR/TE (3) - S.Smith, C.Johnson, T.Heap, B.Watson, R.Williams

K (1) - Gostkowski

Def (1) - Jacksonville, Arizona

I think I have a strong team with a lot of depth at RB. I also have first waiver pick this week and Maurice Morris is sitting out there.

I'm currently have some offers on the table to try and acquire S.Alexander (for Green, M.Bell, Heap) or Boldin (Green, Heap, Watson). I also plan on dumping Gostkowski.

I'm 0-3 as well...

I noticed one reoccurring theme though....

You all have Kitna or Plummer..... I have both!!!!

0-3 and blown out in every game. With this team I thought I would be 3-0

QB Bulger, Culpepper

RB Alexander, T.Jones, Bush, M.Bell

WR C.Johnson, R.Moss, M.Jones

TE V.Davis

K Wilkins

D Jax

Unfortunately, I missed my draft, but I did pre-rank my players (Yahoo). So needless to say, I got a K (Vinatieri) and a DST (Carolina) in the 8th and 9th round. I thought my draft turned out decent... definitely better than a potential 0-3 team.

My team is as follows:

J Delhomme, A Smith (WW pickup, started him last week)

S Jackson, L Jordan, R Bush, J Lewis, D Rhodes and M Morris

D Mason, D Jackson, A Bryant

A Gates, B Watson

R Gould (dropped Vinatieri)

Carolina

We start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, RB/WR, TE, K, DST.

I thought that, with this particular league being a PPR-league, I would do well. Especially, with Jordan catching 70 last year and Bush potentially lining up all over the field. All games have been fairly close. I even had a chance in week 1's MNF game with Jordan and Gates going, but produced an L. And I had another chance this past MNF game with Bush, but again, nothing. F***!!!

I am now trying to use my RB depth to trade and get a stud RB. I've recently offered Bush and Lewis for LJ and TO. I figure, in light of today's mayhem, the other owner would do anything to get rid of TO. Also, his other RBs are Dunn, C Brown and Addai. It seems pretty fair to me.

Am I shooting for the moon? Or, is this offer legit?

Someone in my league is 0-3 and I think he has close to 0% chance of making the playoffs

QBs: Simms, A Brooks, Leftwich

RBs: L Jordan, Dillon, M Bell, Addai, Betts

WRs: T Owens, L Evans, M Jones, V Jackson

:X :X :X :X :X :X :X

Initial dynasty, I planned on being bottom of the barrel anyway, and went with a youthful roster...

I'm third in points against, and had a shot at being 2-1, so it's not all that bad anyway...

QB: Palmer, BJohnson, TJackson

RB: Bush, Foster, Addai, Barlow, Morency, JHarrison

WR: Fitzgerald, Bryant, Williamson, Berrian, Williamson,Booker,MJones

TE: Winslow, VDavis

K: Gould, JBrown

D: Giants, Rams

I tihnk I will be just fine next year :D

0-3 in a 12 team dynasty league in its 2nd year. Ironcially, i did the same thing last year, but then won 6 straight games. With Portis and Smith back in my lineup, I think i have the potential to start a similar run.

Brees, Rivers, Brunell, Schaub

Portis, Bush, T Jones, Benson, Gado

S.Smith, S.Moss, Evans, Cotchery, Williamson, C.Henry,C.Jackson, Curtis

Watson, Miller

Kasey

Panthers

My plan is just to ride this out. I feel like i have good enough QBs, RBs (especially when the Bears starting running well) and WRs.

I'm 0-3 in one of my leagues.

I'm 6th in points, so I'm not TOTALLY panicked, but being 0-3 is just part of life. Hitting the waiver wire like usual, trying to trade, etc...but I'm not doing anything I wouldn't normally do--I'm still trying to maximize value, just like in every league.

10 team 3 man keeper league where you lose the draft pick you selected your keeper with, ppr very high scoring DE's.

I picked 9th and was not sold on any of the RB's available with my first two picks.

Went WR-WR-WR-RB-RB-RB to start my team.

Looked like this:

Hasselback-9th round keeper

Warner

Leinart

C. Williams

R. Droughns

F. Taylor

Holt

C. Johnson

D. Driver

B. Edwards

G. Jennings

Cooley

After sucking at TE and having two solid starters at QB (according to week three top 250). I traded Hasselback and Cooley for Culpepper and Shockey.

Lost the next game with no production at RB.

Pulled two more deals this week:

Holt and C. Williams for Ronnie Brown and D. Mason

Then trade M. Morris (to Alexander owner) along with Chad Johnson, D. Mason. and J. Shockey for A. Boldin, C. Taylor, A. Gates and D. Bennett

My new team much improved at RB and still pretty solid at WR:

Warner/Leinart/Culpepper

Ronnie Brown

C. Taylor

Boldin

Driver

Edwards/Jennings/Bennett

Gates

Hoping to get back in this thing.

Hated trading Holt but desparetly needed RB's.

have lost by no more than 10 but still 0-3

delhomme

I contribute my 0-3 primarily to three people:

Plummer (dumped him after week 2 - then of course he has a good game in week 3)

Cadillac Williams (hoping he bounces back)

Steve Smith (at least the first two losses)

My strategy has been to work trades and the WW. By making moves, I think my team is upgraded in all areas since the first week. When you're 0-3, there's no where to go but up.

0-3

Palmer

Edge Parker Foster FTaylor Turner MoMo

CJ Glenn MJones Williamson Bryant

Heap

Elam

Bills ( rotates weekly )

Had most points against before last week. Now I am in 2nd with points against.

Never run a team with a co-owner. He originally wanted McNair and Taylor to start last week. I gave him taylor, even though I wanted parker, but started Palmer.

Lost by 2pts.

Things just are not going good at all.

I'm 0-3 also (in one of my leagues).

I'm not worried though. I'm in the top half of the league in points, and got jobbed by Jake Plummer the first two weeks.

Delhomme is the starting QB I had in mind, but with Steve Smith out... I started Plummer, and it killed me.

Larry Johnson didn't help much either.... but I'm past his bye and looking for good things now.

TJ's also been riding the pine for the first three weeks for me.

Roster:

QB

Delhomme, Jake

Grossman, Rex

Plummer, Jake

Leinart, Matt (just picked him up thanks to my 0-3 record)

RB

Johnson, Larry

McGahee, Willis

Maroney, Laurence

Norwood, Jerious

WRs (Need 3 starters)

Holt, Torry

Houshmandzadeh, T.J.

Glenn, Terry

Mason, Derek

Jennings, Greg

TE

Watson, Ben

K

Akers, David

D/ST

Ravens, D
