The #1 Dynasty Pick (1 Viewer)

Richardson was considered most people's #1 dynasty pick.

Do you still draft him in hope that he will be ok & that his future

looks bright in the next several years or do you turn your attention

to Doug Martin, Andrew Luck or RG III ?

Who's you number one ??

I have the 1st pick and am wondering the same thing. At this point it is still Richardson for me looking long term....unless Dr. Andrew's finds something major...

If I had a dyno draft today or tomorrow I would not take him #1, results of tomorrow may change my mind. Part of the reason I considered him #1 until today was that I thought he could be top 5 this year. If you can't expect him to be top 5 this year you cannot justify him #1 imho

Why draw the line at him being top 5 this year when its almost a certainty that anybody else you take won't be top 5 this year? For the record, I wouldn't draft him #1 either way. RB shelf life is too short. I would rather draft the next Fitz or Peyton Manning in any given year and "buy" a RB in his prime because the price I pay buys me many more years with a QB or WR. To me, its like spreading out the "cost" to buy the RB over the 6-7 years more I have a QB or WR. Worth the price to me.

In my opinion building a long term team in dynasty is far more valuable than a win now team that drafts the heck out of RBs who will be retired in 2-5 yrs

Sorry. Misread the question. Thought it was referring to start up's. I'll still take him #1 amongst rookies if I drafted today or tomorrow, but would take every second of my clock waiting for an update before doing so.
