i guess the ppr crowd is pleased with his performance, but for the rest of us he is putting up a measly 11 points every week. he's on the block now that i've got kevin jones back and travis henry/selvin young can do better than bush.
Another good week for the wagon. Bush had 64 yards on 10 carries to bring his average up a respectable 3.8 YPC. He's currently on pace for over 100 catches. How long until the haters are ?
I've been harping ever since he got drafted that he would be better off running normal running plays as a normal running back than running that gimmicky N.O. stuff. Been pretty pleased with what I've seen so far, hopefully it continues and he finds the endzone a bit more.
He's done well, but he's still performing below his ADP. And a starting RB should be averaging more than 51 rushing yards per game (especially since it's not a RBBC situation).

Depends on your league and YMMV, I guess. I drafted him with the 14th pick, and coming into this week he was RB8 in my PPR league. I'd say he's likely to pass up Willie Parker this week as well to become RB7. And he'll likely pass up Ronnie Brown in two weeks.Honestly, though, he's disappointed me in terms of real football value. I thought he'd be a top NFL RB this year, not just a top fantasy RB. But my fantasy team doesn't care.

He is improving and I give him props for that, but I don't ever see him living up to draft hype. I still see him as more of a scat back type, but he has been running the ball better since it's been all on him.
Yet another solid week for Bush. 115 total yards and 2 scores. He also converted some tough short yardage situations. Where are the haters now? :crickets:
I don't hate him, but he was hyped by many as Marshall Faulk with another gear. Thus far he is more like a slightly less effective Brian Westbook, which is very good, but not the same thing at all. As SSOG had noted, he is being paid like a top 5 running back, but is not yet producing as one.
Tough crowd. In a season where so many RBs have disappointed I'd be pretty happy with Bush in most formats. I have him in a PPR league and he's been remarkably consistent since week 2 (averaging 21 PPG since then).
He's also got a great schedule the rest of the way:

It's not his fault, he's not getting a lot of carries.Reggie looked pretty amazing today. He's learning how to apply his talents to be the featured back. He was getting 6, 7, 8 yards a carry pretty consistently.

I've said all along that Westbrook and Barber are the best comparisons. His career trajectory definitely seems to be corroborating that viewpoint. Is he Faulk? No, but neither were Tiki or Westbrook at this point in their careers. I still think he's a good back who will have a prolific career. He's already an elite RB in PPR leagues, which is scary when you consider that he actually still has a lot of upside (he could probably handle 5-10 more carries every week).
