The AFC South...predictions now that Manning(Inj), Garrard(cut) (1 Viewer)

Houston 8-8

Indianapolis 8-8

Tennessee 6-10

Jacksonville 4-12

Would this shock anyone? Does any team really need to win 10 games now?

The Texans will win at least 10 games.

Will come from:

-Indy at Home without Peyton

-Jacksonville with McCown or Gabbert (2)

-Tennessee with Hasselback or Locker (2)

-Miami

-Cleveland

-Cincinnati

-Oakland

-Carolina

They won't win all ten of those, but if they lose 1 or 2, they will probably win 1 or 2 of their

other tougher games (Pitt, Balt, Ind (probably with Peyton), NO, Atl, TB).

Assuming Manning misses at least the first four games, I think that Indi slips to 7-9 or worse. The other records may stay the same and the effect may be that another conference is elevated. This really looks to be Houston's year.

Are you worried in predicting 12 wins for a team that to my knowledge has never even won 10 games? It's rhetorical because obviously you're not but are you assuming they go something like 5-1, maybe even 6-0 in the division?

Speaking of the NFC West, Seattle won that at 7-9.

This isn't Collins' first rodeo. IF Collins eeks out a say 3-5 start and *IF* Son Of Archie returns mid year or just past it in decent shape there's no reason the Colts can't light it up and retake the division at 9-7.

I wouldn't write off TEN either.

Agreed, in fact I might bump them up to 9 wins the more I think about it. Dark horse for the division for sure after Houston and assuming Manning misses significant time.

Yes, I think that they dominate the AFC South and would not be surprised at 6-0.

Giving the Jaguars 4 wins is generous. They are going to be epically bad. Sucks for a team that can't sell tickets.

With no Manning anytime soon for Indy I tend to agree with you Stephen. I would put a vote in though for a surprise Tennessee win during the year.
