Great information here. He made a great point comparing the starting point of Smith to Leinart, and how Smith was so far behind him experience wise when both were rookies. Smith really had a much steeper learning curve than most young QB's. He sounds really high on him, and also on Vernon Davis.

He also seems high on Brandon Williams, and after hearing him say he has been impressive in the offseason, he may be an undervalued sleeper to keep an eye on. They aren't exactly loaded at WR.

He never mentioned anyone but Gore, and thinks the running game will be very similar to when Turner was there. He said the offense will be centered around Gore.
