The Audible Live - 10 PM tonight 10/13 (1 Viewer)

Dr. Bramel, can you talk a little bit about Mark Clayton's injury and recovery? Where do you seem this year as compared to his pre-injury self last year? Any chance hes close to 100% by week 8? I'm a medical student and posted what little I knew on the board about a patellar ligament tear but would like your expert opinion.

What can we expect from Mendy and Julio from here on out?

What are the chances Mike Williams TB comes back to being a WR2 or WR1 this year?

Thanks guys.

Regarding Demaryius Thomas..How would you compare a RB coming back from an Achilles injury to a WR. You guys seemed pretty down on Leshoure's chances of coming back. Will Thomas have an impact this year or will next year be more likely. Thanks

Which 2 WR's would you start this week between: Reggie Wayne, Pierre Garcon, Greg Little, and David Nelson?

Does BJGE have turf toe?

Is Mark Clayton walking with a limp? Is there any eye witness accounts of how he looks physically running and making cuts?

Don't forget every week we have Dr. Jene's second opinion with in-depth discussions of the biggest injuries around the league. If we ask nicely, maybe he'll join us for even more tonight with Cecil out this evening and yours truly in the host seat.
The second hour of the live chat will undoubtedly divide my attention, but I'm in.Rock flag and eagle!!

Late in the season Denver plays the absolute dregs of pass defenses including Minnesota, Chicago, New England, and Buffalo. What can we expect, assuming Tebow is playing decent ball for Tebow, Lloyd, Decker, and Thomas over that stretch?

Might this be the situation that brings home trophies for players? Ala Tebow/Lloyd 2010?

Totally screwed at WR with byes this week (casualty of drafting Denver players) in a couple of PPR deep, DEEP leagues. Let me know your Nellie Cruz 'swing for the fences' thoughts on the following:

Laurent Robinson

Devin Aromashodu

Antonio Brown (return yards included)

Kerry Meier (Rock Chalk!)

Nate Burleson

Joel Dreessen (in a flex spot)

Others?

To give you an idea, players that are currently owned include: Jerome Simpson, Harry Douglas, Austin Collie, Kevin Walter, Titus Young, Jason Avant, Arrelious Benn...yadda yadda you get the picture.

Thanks!

Hi guys, what's up?

I have a dynasty question for you: what are the similarities and differences in between Cam Newton's and Tim Tebow's playing style, and based on that, what can we expect from these guys for the next two to three years, fantasy wise?

Keep up the good work!

Truly Yours

In my non-PPR dynasty I ended up with great TE's and marginal WR 3/4/5. Start 3 WR, 1TE, 1WR/TE flex.

WR Roddy, Nicks, Denarius Moore, Randal Cobb, Damian Williams, Jacoby Jones.

TE Finley, Hernandez, Gresham

I routinely start 2 TE and almost always choose wrong. Gresham's TD's have all been on the bench this year.

Outside of trading TE depth, should I just assume Finley and Hernandez are default, or is Jermaine in their league now?

In my league an owner has soured on Mario Manningham and dropped him. I am looking for clarity on Mario Manningham. In terms of upside and production for the rest of this season would you take Manningham over the following receivers: Jacoby Ford (Oak), Mark Clayton (STL), or Antonio Brown (PIT). Thanks guys. Keep up the excellent work.

edited:: for clarity, literally and figuratively

Hey guys, with Donald Jones being sidelined, David Nelson moved outside and received 0 targets while Roosevelt came in and played the slot and received all the targets. So who would be the better play of the two this weekend? I am assuming Roosevelt will continue to play the slot and they say Chan Gailey's slot guy gets targeted a lot.

Also, is Darius Heyward Bey for real now? Has he finally "gotten it"? And finally, of these 3 aforementioned WR's, would Antonio Brown be the better play of them all this weekend against the Jaguars at home? Thank you guys. Scott

A huge thanks to the Audible crew. With little ones at home I do not get to watch as much football as I would like. Listening to the Audible when I go out for a run has allowed me to still enjoy and compete in my fantasy leagues. This podcast and the footballguys subscription gets about 80% of the credit. I will take credit for the luck portion of fantasy football.

Thanks guys.

After listening to the waiver wire episode I would love to hear the others opinions about DHB and Greg Little. (redraft)

Would be interested to hear Jene's medical opinion on J. Charles. Assuming things go correctly and Haley has a clue on how to use him in 2012, what would you expect the response of his knee will be? Would this be a good 2012 and a better 2013 a la Wes Welker?

Thanks!

Oh, and what the hell is up with the CHI safties?

Jackie Battle.

This guy is being discussed more than the POTUS. Does this kid have what it takes to build on his dominant performance,

or does he fade to black ?

Last year Andre Roberts was a sleeper favorite among a lot of FBG Staff. In his second year he has earned a starting spot across from Fitzgerald, but hasn't done much. Why? Early Doucet is outplaying him from the slot. Which of those two young receivers do you like better long term?

Always love the change of pace with Bloom running things!

Anyway, I picked up Tebow in both my leagues despite having strong QB combos already (Newton/Ryan, Stafford/Eli) with the idea of trading him in a few weeks assuming he puts up some nice games like last year. First off, would it be better to trade Tebow or my other backup QB(s), and also, what should I expect in return RB or WR wise that makes it worthwhile to ship him away?

Thanks

Good evening gentlemen,

Last week you touched on the rookies of the 2012 class. Could you each talk about one rookie next year that you are most excited about as a pro prospect? If motorboating will ensue in Cecil's absence, may I suggest a bib? :)

Great job as always fellas.

Dave Larkin

Wisc= Wisconsin Badgers stl= Saint Louis Rams atl= Atlanta Braves mia= Miami Heat

There has been a bit of a debate lately on LeBron James Prospects as an NFL TE/WR prospect...I was hoping that you guys would give your thoughts on what type of prospect he would be and how well he woud translate his skills to the pro game.

Love the Audible, you guys talking fantasy football is poetry in motion!

Greetings and salutations! With just over a quarter of the season in the books, can you guys mention a few WR's and RB's who might be outside the top 15 or 20 at their position now that you feel have a solid chance to finish in the top 10 at their position? Thanks, love this audible goodness!

Every point counts each wek and every league has us starting those lingerie wearing sissies..the kickers. Even thier own teammates tell them they are not football players BUT to us, the truly demented, they are a source of valuable points.

Can any of you guys give us a real formula for determing what kicker will really do well each week..beside just starting guys on good offenses. Is it a kicker on a team with a great defense since they will keep the game close......?

..or if talking about kickers makes you throw up a little inside your own mouth.....

I need Josh Freeman to excel to win. What the ****** is up with him?...any breakdowns on why he has turned into shut your mouth?

I know Bloom and Cecil were part of the original Bernard Scott hype train pre-draft a few years back. But he's my RB 5 at the moment and absolutely worthless to me IF Benson's not suspended during one of my bye weeks, and I have a roster crunch when trying to add someone like Tebow or Graham, who could start for me as a bye replacement this week. I tried trading him to the Benson owner and got little interest, as he's in a similar roster crunch situation -- Scott would be a handcuff to his RB3. So,

1) IS BENSON GONNA GET SUSPENDED, and WHEN?

2) Is Scott's upside when/IF that happens big enough that he's worth hanging onto indefinitely, possibly costing me on lost waiver wire opportunities in the meantime.

Thanks, and looking forward to the big showwwwww!

Consistently outstanding stuff gentlemen!!

Who are some players you would you identify as buy-low prospects right now who could help fantasy owners come fantasy playoff time?

Who are some current NFL backups who you think could be fantasy significant, either because of an injury prone or struggling starter ahead of them?

Keep up the awesome work!!

Can you guys discuss players with particularly good fantasy playoff schedules, now that we're starting to see who some of the more generous defenses are?

Quick one about Jahvid Best. You guys keep insisting he's going to wear down and he's not a featured back, yet here he was on Monday night w/ his best game of the year. (Yes, I know it was mostly on one big long run)

Do you guys still think he's not a top 20 back? And if he went down, who would be the handcuff to have– Harrison or Keiland?

Thx.

Hi Guys, one easy question for you.

1) I'm TRADING FOR Cam Newton (and his 3 Years contract) in NonPPR Keeper.

My Lineup is Brees / Rice / McCoy / PITWallace / Graham / Lloyd or Finley + very good IDPs.

He wants Drew Brees (expiring contract) + 2012 First (Medium to Low) & 2013 First (Don't know) or a 2012 Top 5 Pick (Not mine, can sign the Rookie for 5 Years).

I'm leaning towards trading the top pick, but i'm scared about the chance to lose 5 Years of Richardson or Blackmon, who seem "can't miss" prospect even in NonPPR. Since it is impossibile to predict every remaining game, what would you do according to your style of play and your team management strategy? Would you trade Brees + Picks or the High First?

Keep up the awesome work! Thanks.

Did anyone see the references to "motorboating" on "The League" tonight? That had to be because of the opening that is used for the Audible.
