The Audible Live - 10 PM tonight 7/7 (1 Viewer)

Gentlemen,

Let's try to use this lock-out to our advantage, shall we? Who are the players you are trying to acquire on the cheap before their value jumps post free-agency? Are there any undrafted free angents who fit this criteria as well?

Who are the players you are trying to sell high before they end up resigning with their current team and being relegated to 2nd string?

Thanks!

Much love

Hey Guys,

I'd love to hear you talk about the Redskins RB situation. Will Torain be The Man this year?

Thanks!

Hi guys, what's up? Love the show...

For dynasty/keeper leagues: given Peyton Manning's age and all the questions surrounding his recent surgery, how many years can he still be a top ten fantasy football QB?

Keep up the great work!

Truly Yours

Kerry Cocktails calls it a career! A little discussion about his career would be nice. :banned:

Please discuss CHI direction and Forte - Why should I be sold?

Act on Deck!

Thx Gebz

What sort of numbers do you guys envision for Matt Ryan this year?

He's been a media darling for the last year or two, and no doubt the addition of Julio Jones is going to pump up Ryan's stock in a lot of fantasy leagues.

But Ryan's yards-per-attempt averages have been backup-level lately. He's averaged 6.5 yards per attempt the last two years. Among the quarterbacks with better YPA numbers than Ryan last season: Kerry Collins, Chad Henne, Matt Hasselbeck and (your favorite, Cecil) Alex Smith. I realize that the nature of the Atlanta offense has something to do with it, but c'mon. Ty Detmer called -- he wants his YPA back.

Ryan also laid eggs in a couple of big games last season -- namely, the playoff loss to the Packers and the late-season loss to the Saints. Is it possible the dude is simply overrated?

I foresee the NO Saints passing game will be in flux in 2011. Because of free agency and injuries, the following players may be gone or not as relevant as in the past.

- Lance Moore

- Reggie Bush

- Marques Colston

I also wonder if Sean Payton will (try to) emphasize the run more this year. Do you agree or disagree with these thoughts?

If you agree with any of this, who do you project will earn the “go to trust” of Drew Brees?

Thanks. Can’t wait for 2 hours of The Audible…

I'd love to hear some discussion on Mike Wallace vs. Dez Bryant, both for this season and for dynasty. Does Bryant have a decided advantage over Wallace in the physical freak category, or am I underrating Wallace's physicality? Can Wallace make the kind of catches Hines Ward is known for once Ward retires, or is he primarily a perimeter, deep threat? I have Bryant rated higher in my own dynasty rankings, but I don't see many who agree with me.

I'd also like to hear your thoughts on Felix Jones' value going forward. Is this a make or break year for him? Will he ever put it together or will he shortly lose his job to Demarco Murray? Is Murray a good dynasty buy or are the Cowboys over-optimistic about what he can be? Also, what is the deal with the Cowboys' lack of faith in Tashard Choice?

Also what do see for the Green Bay backfield. Is this the last year for Grant? Will Starks eat away at Grants touchs this season? What about Alex Green? Where does he fit into the scheme. The other question would be the Arizona backfield - can Well's pull it together or will Williams be the RB who gets the rock? Will Hightower still play an important role receiving out of the backfield and change of pace back?

Thanks guys! Great show - listen all the time.

Jamaal Charles – I’d like to get your take on the type of year Jamaal Charles will have in 2011. The KC schedule will be significantly tougher this year.

Do you project improvement or evolution on both sides of the ball that will allow JC to have a Top 5 fantasy year? Or, does the schedule and the loss of Charlie Weiss set the team back?

Thanks

Where do you see the value for a 2QB redraft league - all td's 6 points. 0.5ppr

Starting lineup

2QB

3WR

2RB

1TE

1RB/WR

1K

1DEF

Would you be looking to go QB/QB in the first two rounds - if so who would you target in the remainning rounds. A Matt forte in round 4? Maybe Sidney Rice in round 5?

How do you strategize this year for a 2QB league 2011 redraft?

Houston Texans – In 2009 the passing game led the way for the Texans as Matt Schaub had a career year. In 2010 Arian Foster exploded upon the scene and the Houston O was more balanced.

In 2011, I have to believe the Defense will be improved, if only a little bit. Owen Daniels and Andre Johnson will begin the season healthy.

How good (in Fantasy) will the Texan offense be this year? What are the floor/ceiling for:

- Foster

- Schaub

- Daniels

Do you see anyone else stepping up that might be worth a pick in the 8th – 10th round? Perhaps Jacoby Jones?

Thanks guys.

In a standard scoring league, what do you want your roster to look like after 6 rounds this year? Please answer for ppr and non ppr. Mainly, I am wanting to know if filling both the qb and te positions by round 6 with a top 7 player at each position is a viable strategy in the current environment, or if it will leave a team too weak in depth at rb or wr.

what he said

Yes, good call on asking for discussion of Dallas, Green Bay and Arizona's backfields. Who are the value players to acquire?

One other thought I had--I see Steve Smith (Carolina) and Austin Collie as two potential huge values at WR this year. Each has an obvious concern: Smith somehow not getting traded to a good team and being stuck in Carolina and Collie getting hurt again. Which guy's concern is scarier? Who is the favorable player?

Hi guys! I’ve always played non-PPR redraft, but our league is going to a 1 pt per reception redraft this yr.

In round 1, the league has typically taken 3QB, 8RB, 1WR. In round 2, it’s been 1-6-5, and Round 3 has been 2-5-5...so after 3 rounds, 6-19-11.

1. What kind of changes would you expect in the drafting philosophy going from non-PPR to PPR?

2. If you are picking in the second half of the first round, what RBs would you pass on and go WR instead?

3. Matt, with upside down drafting, and still drafting in the second half, when would you grab your RB1, and what kind of players would you expect to find?

Thanks!

Hey Guys,

How do you see the rookie QBs playing out specifically who starts when?

Gabbert

Newton

Ponder

Dalton

Kaepernick

Locker (does Tenn really pay Hass after paying a first rounder?)

Mallett

Thanks guys and belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIG!

are there any late round idps that you are targeting. Looking for either young guys who may be in line for bigger roles later in the season or in 2012 or for vets that may end up with starting rolls after the FA period that can out produce their current adp. thanks.

How big of a difference is there between AJ Green and Julio Jones? Who will be more productive this year and down the road? And do you see either one of them ever becoming a top 5 fantasy receiver?

Gentlemen, loving the show as usual.

Just a simple, fun question. If you could redo a 2010 rookie draft today, who would be your top 10?

Keep up the awesome work! Thanks!

Chimp
