nice work guys...

I was a bit suprised to hear you say that you don't see anything coming down the pipes from the NFL on this Lynch thing. I think it is still too early to tell. While I don't see anything major, a game or two is still possible. Goodell makes his own rules when it comes to things like this. Pacman was suspended a year for basically making the league look bad. Tank Johnson got an 8 game ban for having un-registered guns. I don't see how a hit and run that caused injury only to be swept under that much better.

I really feel like the NFL should step up on some issues. After the Briggs situation last year and now thing with Lynch, it looks like the "smart" move for players is flee the scene and let a lawyer handle things later.

Again, not to make this a Lynch thread, but I was suprised to hear you guys say you don't expect anything to come down from the Commish.

I think it is too early to tell. Goodell has been cracking down on most players (we can debate the effectiveness), but I feel that Lynch could get by with a pass. The fact that he did cooperate (eventually) with police, and he did admit guilt, and apologize could keep him from missing playing time. If he does serve a suspension we're looking at 1-2 games max.
