Love the show for talking about all the deep sleepers that always emerge as RB replacements for injured starters but this week you guys loved everybody equally or so it seemed. Everybody was the guy to own. Good lord you'd have to be in a league with 100 deep rosters to pick up some of the guys you were talking about. Still love your show and analysis of the sleepers but there needs to be a greater focus on prioritizing which players you're advocating or it devolves into just reading a list of sleepers where you're high on every single one.

Good posting. My take on the format for this week is that it's just a crap-shoot, & there's not enough evidence out there to really prioritize the WW adds.

I had similar thoughts. I think it was more of a product of the lack of talent that is likely to be available at this point - no of the names mentioned were much to get excited about.

As a constructive comment, I think maybe tempering some enthusiasm would be a good thing. The Julius Thomas love was unreal. It alomst seems like they want to be the "I told you so guys" on Thomas.

'I told you so' is not in our vocabulary. The admiration for Thomas is nothing new. We've been talking about Julius Thomas since I watched him up close during the week of practice for the Shrine Game. The reason we're excited about him is the fact that he's incredibly talented, raw, and has huge upside.

This week is a cluster-you-know-what at the RB position. We do talk about players in order of preference at their position if that helps, thanks for listening!

This is a fair criticism, and it was definitely much more difficult to sort this out than usual because of the uncertainty around timeframes for the return of injured starters and roles for the backups yet to be defined. There was also the complicating factor of "what do you need?" - if its just this week, or maybe someone to cover a temporary injury, or just end of the bench upside.I did start out on the note of "trust talent over opportunity/situation" I still think Helu has the highest speculative value. Then Moreno for a multi-week flex play. On the note of talent, Carter and Ringer possibly should be higher, but KWilliams is going to have likely flex value again this weekend (and possibly longer) and LWash could have on and off value for the rest of the year as he seems to be ahead of Forsett now.As far as the DEEP guys - I still stand behind Lewis, Spiller, TaiJones, and now Rodgers with Mughelli out for the year as the best possible intersections of talent and situation - MB3 and Ricky have the best potential opportunity if the starters do down.

My take on the audible podcast is that this post is consistent with what you guys stated. It's just a mess right now...

I get it and I appreciate what you guys do - or I wouldn't listen. I think Thomas needs a little more to happen to get giddy about the guy. Supposedly he was healthy last week - that may be incorrect - but if he was he didn't even get a target. Are the coaches talking about getting him playing time? Anything like that?

yeah, I don't want to beat you guys up for sharing opinions and offering a service, but if you want any kind of feedback I think it gets a little ridiculous when you read the phonebook of nfl rosters and advise people to just pick everybody up and see what happens.

we all have roster limits, obviously, and in order for me to sit on ward, hoping 2 other guys in front of him get knocked out, I have to pay the price of cutting another guy --- nothing's without cost.

I think it's pretty apparent to everyone listening that if player X gets hurt, then his back up becomes more valuable -- I don't know that trying to roster every handcuff in the league is great advice.

personally, I'd be more interested in hearing which guys stuck on the bench really deserve to be starters, or might even be pushing somebody aside sometime soon.

I don't see all these guys, so I like hearing about the julius thomas's, even if he hasn't done jack.

I know you guys try to spin it a bit in that direction, but I have a hard time buying into a guy like taiwan jones in redraft when he's got 2 guys to get past and he just had his big break with mcfadden out --- what'd he do with it?

out of this whole mish mosh of 50 guys it'd be more helpful to offer insight on which few will actually produce, as none of us have crystal balls --- I think the idp podcast is more in the direction of what I'm talking about.

anyway, not trying to be a #### about it --- gonna go listen to the week 8 preview right now.

First off, love your WW podcast. Although you did lean MoMo last week in contest of splitting hairs with Murray, and I chose the wrong one to pick up. Not blaming you, hey you stuck your neck out there.

This week, I think I am in the same boat as many others. A lot of us have injury depleted rosters and week 7 was a bloodbath. Couple that with a lot of good teams for fantasy on bye in week 8. I am not interested in speculative adds this week. I need a guy that I can plug an play for this week. I think the show would do its followers a favor by focusing on flex pickups in order of preference.

Thomas was declared 'out' (not a healthy scratch either) He's been practicing this week and should get on the field this week against the Lions.

Thanks for the info. I would like to pick the guy up and will likely do so when I can drop my back up kicker next week. What's your thought on how soon he is likely to contribute? Do you think Tebow may limit his value somewhat?
