The Dark Knight Rises Villains Announced (1 Viewer)

kind of underwhelming but still pumped. big fan of bane but hate the way he looks still. i really hope he breaks batmans back
I think it looks totally awesome.
stadium faling apart was too fake (although i cant imagine making that look real),not a fan of the bane look although im a big fan of the character and the actor. the trailer did get the one liners and tone in there so im pumped but it didnt give me the jumpy and quo

I'm not convinced that Two Face wont be in it. After all they do show Commissioner Gordon speaking in front of Dent's portrait at one point.

Gotham City Rogues = Pittesburgh Steelers?Hines Ward and Mike Wallace are on the team, and in the trailer, that looks like Heinz field...
A lot of the movie was filmed here in pittsburgh. That is indeed heinz field and lots of steelers participated. The kicker, Ravenstahl, is also the mayor of pittsburgh. The court steps batman is fighting on towards the end is actually a building at CMU. What are the chances Bane does new voiceover work before july?

I would think 100%. After they start screening the movie and realize that banes voice just doesnt work then they will have to do something. I have watched the 7 minute trailer 2x and the official trailer 3x and it just doesnt get better. Something has to be done.

Wasnt there some complaints about the first scene from the last film about the voices being all jumbled and sounding alike? Seems to me that I recall something of that nature.

Portions of this film were also shot in Cleveland. Cleveland is often used as a cheaper alternative to shooting in New York because the architecture is very similar.

Just saw it. I feel like I understood him a bit better there.
can you explain what was going on in that scene?
I had NO clue what was going on in that scene until I followed Wingnut's link from above and read the script pages:
This will shed some light on the dialogue, its the leaked script pages from that scene.http://www.wwtdd.com/2011/12/script-pages-from-the-dark-knight-rises-have-leaked/

If you notice in the trailer, he's the last one to get swallowed up by the implosion of the field as Ward crosses the goal line.

Not really. Some CIA guy hired some dudes to rescue(?) this Dr. Pavel from Bane and his guys. The dudes also captured some of Bane's guys (but apparently they got captured on purpose and Bane was one of them). There was also, apparently, a dead body on board. They put Dr. Pavel's blood into this body? (was it already drained or what?). This was all some elaborate plan to crash the plane so that they can keep Dr. Pavel and everybody thinks he is dead?

There are like at least 3 movies out there where she shows all. Unless they all enhance them digitally (which could be true) then she has a nice rack regardless of that picedit - the second pic proves me right. Nice find

Bane seems too small.... He should be freakishly big....
Doesn't need to be big until he hits the venom injections, but I am not thrilled with him at all. Everything in this triology has been true to the comics until Bane. Looks terrible and sounds terrible, very unlike the rest of the characters in the films so far. I am not really looking forward to this much anymore.

Ras Al Ghul was a white guy in the comics?

Certainly looks like it even though he is from Asia. Neeson certainly looks infinitely more like Ra's than Hardy does Bane. I am also not very fond of seeing such a huge story like Knightfall be redone and condensed to a 2 1/2 hour movie. There are rumors that Azrael is in this movie if so it's even more ridiculous for a franchise that has stayed fairly true to the comics.ETA The whole Knightfall arc could have very easily been a trilogy of movies on it's own, there is no way to do it justice in a single movie. To me it's very disappointing that Nolan is attempting this, the whole arc lasted for ~2 years in the comics and IMO is one of the best major arcs that has been done in the comics.
