Annual RAID on other teams to get top players instead of the traditional low value RFA/UFA activity. You protect 7 on your roster, then in a draft order format take a player from another team, total of 7...in turn you lose 7. Keeps the top players from being held by one team year after year.

Commish has founded 4 teams on mfl.com, 2 of which in their 4th year....has commished a wide variety of formats on mfl.com...also retired, so has time to take care of league details

League is designed to develop/build/expand features over time, as owner's skills and interests change

Our free agency alone is unique...

The Annual Raid (Free agency) April 2013. Typically Free agency has teams dropping their lower valued players. In the spirit of the Romans teams are permitted to Raid other team's rosters as follows:

A. 7 rounds comprise the annual Raid.

B. Order is same for all rounds. Generated by the FF Tool Box online generator. There is no trading of raid positions. There is no trading of players during the raid.

C. Each team protects 1 player at each position, for a total of 6 and 1 player selected at large. These players are posted at league msg. board and noted on team rosters as "P" in the draft column.

The remaining players can be taken by another teams.

D. Each team only loses 7 players. Each team gains 7 players.
